ADHD: Non-Medication Treatments and Skills for Children and Teens Review: Very knowledgeable! - It provided a lot of info that I as a parent of an ADHD child had that I had no idea about. Finished the book just in time for school to start back in 2 weeks. Really excited to see how we'll my child does now that we've started implementing tactics from the book to help him and our family! Review: Very helpful tips & tricks - It is disappointing to know when one of family member gets diagnoised by adhd. When you come back to reality, I recommend to read this book. If you have read books like DSM-5 you can easily understand symptoms of adhd. This book brings out all those medical terms into simple easily understandable terms. You will be able to understand symptoms & non-medical treatment for adhd. If you are reading this review, you are in similar boat. I emphtize with you & just believe that adhd is treatable like any other disorder, although bit difficult in the begining. Good luck!

Full of intervention ideas!
I'm a pediatric occupational therapist and I'm super impressed with all the Intervention ideas in this book. It's easy to read for clinicians and parents! If this were the only book I had, I'd be happy!

I'm an LICSW and this was very beneficial product for my practice and for parenting my daughter who is diagnosed ADHD. I wish more was discussed regarding neurofeedback, though.

This book is truly amazing, informative and very positive. It makes you feel so good after reading it and that you have more control over your life and how to help your child with ADHD. I read the whole book at once its so well written and so kind to your child, doesn’t put them down just give no none sense methods of how to improve all areas of your child life in positive way.

I'm so disappointed that this book suggests time out as a strategy particularly for ND children. Time out is pointless, harmful and toxic and petty, ignore do not talk to them? Yeah because stonewalling someone is really mature and teaches great emotional intelligence for the future?! NOT! I don't know how they can suggest mindful parenting yet include time out? It's is not necessary to punish a child for their disability! Particularly when rejection sensitive dysphoria is such a huge thing for those with ADHD, great way to riddle a child with deep rooted shame and guilt when they are not able to meet neurotypical rules and expectations.
