I accidentally bought the grip for the x100f for my 100v. Should i go through the trouble of returning and exchanging for the V grip?

I would. The control layout seems to change with each iteration enough that Lensmate redesigns the grip to fit each model. The goal is to not block access to the controls and that the reinforcement bit is against a solid part of the rear plate.

Will this work on the X100T?

Accepted Answer

No, this will not fit the X100T. The X100T camera model has a raised flange under the hot shoe mount and the X100V's right hand side is slightly forward when looking from the top.

Does it fit the xs10 as well?

No, the XS10 has a totally different shaped body, so our Thumbrest designed specifically for the X100V would not fit. The XS10 has a raised section above the built in lens where the X100V is flat on top.

Question 4

would this fit on the x-e4 as it has a similar slanted design as the x100v?

Accepted Answer

No, it does not fit - because the X-E4's hot shoe is father to the left than the X100V which makes X100V thumbrest is too short. Also the X100V thumbrest covers the 3rd button on the back - so would be annoying having to open the thumbrest each time.
