Works for me, holds my 2kg projector
I needed a small tripod for my Nebula Cosmos projector that I have in my living / TV room (which weighs 2kg). I actually used, for a few days, the smaller tripod from this same company (which is rated for 1kg). It actually worked perfectly. I was just scared about overloading it and my expensive projector falling. That smaller model uses a push button to rotate / secure the ball. This slightly larger unit uses a twist screw, which seems more stable and secure. This model is rated for 2.5kg; so, that makes me rest easier. I don't see much use for the extendable legs. But, this unit does seem to sit slightly wider, for a slightly more sturdy stance. For now, it seems great and I am happy with it. I don't plan to ever move it (unless I move; I have a portable projector for on the go use). Hopefully it provides years of use while I have this projector.

My best Manfrotto purchase. Well my only one anyway.
This was my 1st Manfrotto purchase and I went into it with just a hint of trepidation for I had believed many photographers buy Manfrotto for the name and not for the build quality. Well, for now I will swallow those thoughts with pride for this little bad boy has exceeded my expectations. My goal in looking for a mini tripod was one that can handle a FF DSLR with a FF lens attached like a 16-35 or 24-70 or 24-105. Many will say that most of these kind of tripod's just can't handle it, that they aren't made for that, well this one can handle it. There are a few YouTube videos by people that claim this can handle the weight, that the weight rating is less than what it can do and they are correct. The red dot knob tightens the ball head really well. I would however still take precautions that Manfrotto recommends like extending the legs for better balance but even though there's a chance the tripod could fall over, the ball head won't give way. Everything else they say like it feels good in your hands to the compactness to the overall form and function are all correct. And the best part, you are getting a Manfrotto and a very reasonable price IMO.

Good as tripod and selfie or blogging handle
I bought this mini tripod in March 2021 mainly because of the brand name. I have been using it as a trip pod, stand, and holding grip for blogging with small cameras like GoPro and Cellphone. Initially the quality was very good and felt good showing the brandname logo. Unfortunately over the time the paint started to wear off on one of the pivot points of one of the legs and the leg is now unable to holds its position and flops around. Not a big problem if it iss supporting something, the issue is only when you lift the tripod and the leg just flops around. I still enjoy using this mini tripod, just wish the quality lasted longer.

100% Manfrotto Quality
This tripod has a couple really cool and useful features, and is far superior to any other table top tripod I've used. The extensible legs alone are worth the price of admission - the fact every other aspect of the tripod is better than anything else available just makes it a better deal. Quality - robustness - utility - weight: all positives. My only 'wish' is if it had a removable mount or that the 1/4-20 screw thumbwheel were a bit larger; it's a bit tough to get tight when attaching to a full frame 35mm body. Works fine on the larger SLR-like point and shoots with thinner bodies. But this is a trivial nit-pick; not at all a concern.

Great value for the price!
This little Manfrotto is super handy particularly for low-angle shots. My photography often features unorthodox angles with a camera body that doesn't have a swivel LCD screen (5D mkIII) For reference, I usually place a 24-70mm f/2.8L or a 25mm f/1.4 Sigma ART lens with the 5D mkIII when I use this mini tripod and it's been rock solid. I haven't placed a 70-200mm f/2.8L IS on it yet. The components are mostly plastic (except for the metal screw at the tripod mount) so it's nice and light. It folds down nicely into an external pouch on my camera bag. As long as you're not expecting this mini tripod to be a rough + rugged piece of your kit, it serves well as a table top or odd-angle camera tripod.

Solid mini tripod
Clever design and well executed. The legs fold together to make a hand grip, and the extendable legs provide a wide base for larger camera or lenses. Because it is plastic, there is slight flex but minimal. Ball moves freely when unlocked and is very solid when it is locked down. Camera mounting screw is free to rotate without rotating the entire tripod as with some mini tripods. Would definitely recommend.

Great for taking photos with my smart phone
I was very pleased to find this was an easy-to-use tripod with a lot of versatility. I bought the phone clamp to use with it for my iPhone 13, and it fits well, even with a (slim) case on it. It's very stable and can be positioned and repositioned vary easily and making the adjustments is also simple. Glad I decided on this tripod - better photos already!

Good quality tripod
Bought this tripod specifically to go with the Double Lock clamp. Very pleased with the purchase as it's light and stable when supporting the camera phone.
