I ordered this in black, and I've only been using it for a few days... but I couldn't LOVE it more! Yes, it has 12 - count 'em! 12 - compartments, which some said is confusing, but if you take a minute to really think about how you want things laid out for ease of use and then load it up accordingly, they can actually help tremendously with your organization. I'm extremely picky about purses because I like to be able to find things "instantly while blind-folded" - and sort of whip things out James Bond-style - and it's taken me over 5 years to find a basic black bag that suited me... and this is it! CONSTRUCTION: As a seamstress, I approve of this bag, lol! Since at least one reviewer had said it was falling apart inside, I checked every seam, zipper, hardware mount, etc on mine, and couldn't be more impressed. Everything appears to be sewn very well, and there is extensive use of seam binding throughout, which, I feel, will go a long way to prevent tear-outs. FABRICS: The fabrics used for both the interior and exterior are substantial, without being weighty or stiff, and I expect they will both hold up well, as well as be somewhat stain and water repellent. The fact that it's machine washable is unprecedented - and so cool, isn't it? How I wish everything was machine washable... (-: By the way, washing it is a great way to test the seams... The inside of mine is a dark tan, btw - rather than black, like so many purses - so you can actually SEE your stuff inside without a flashlight - wahoo! STRUCTURE: I love that - although super lightweight - the bag stands up on it's own without falling over, even if it's only about half full. That said, it's so thin and lightweight, you could pack it as a 2nd bag in your suitcase without taking up much room or weight at all. I also love that you can leave the main compartment open while carrying the purse on your shoulder and the purse doesn't gape, collapse inward or deform in any way. It still looks stylish. (Told you I'm picky.) STRAP: Someone said the strap looks cheap, but I beg to disagree. It is smooth webbing with a slight sheen, and I think it adds a bit of elegance to the bag, harmonizing well with the muted gold hardware, which adds another subtle pop of class. One slight worry I have is that the hardware that the strap slides through is a little rough where the ends of the metal meet, and although it's not currently causing a problem, I'm wondering if it will scratch/ pick out the strap over time. Other than wrapping it in tape or filing it, not sure what could be done. Someone said the strap keeps sliding out of position, but I'm not having that problem. The strap IS a bit slippery, so it might happen if the bag is full of heavy things and is moved on and off the shoulder a lot. I'll just put a stitch in if it does, since changing the strap length day-to-day is not necessary for me. The strap is on the long side, so would likely fit folks of ample girth or height quite well. I'm 5'5" and sort of thin, and I have it on the shortest setting, although I do wear it as a shoulder bag rather than a cross-body bag which needs more length. COMPARTMENTS: I just love them! The zippers flow smoothly and easily, the pulls are just the right size, and everything can be zipped up securely (except the 2 elasticized "water bottle" pouches on the ends). Somehow, for me, all the compartments are just the right size and location - for keys, cellphone, wallet, sunglasses, notepad, pens, cosmetics - EVERYTHING! One small thing I love is that the 2 open pockets inside the main compartment (against the front wall) go all the way to the floor of the purse, and are wide enough for your WHOLE hand to go in, thumb and all - unheard of in women's bags. I put small/ tiny things in here, like lip gloss, hand sanitizer, granola bar, and because the pockets are nice & deep, nothing falls out if you happen to lean over while the purse is unzipped, unlike with the typical shallower pockets. A great utilitarian design! A note on the 2 "water bottle" pockets on the ends of purse: Gosh, they are tiny (!), but as another reviewer suggested, I ordered 2 "mini-thermoses" off Amazon and they work beautifully in these pockets. (I use one for my coffee and one for my water.) These are easy to take in and out of the pockets, and no falling out, despite being 9 & 3/4 inches high. (The diameter on the ones I got is 1 & 3/4 in. and they hold 8 ounces each.) One drawback of course is that these tall skinny bottles will topple over in a standard cup holder in your car (I didn't think of that!) so you kinda have to either keep them in your purse or between your legs when driving. Alternately, you can fit an 8 & 1/2 - 9 in. water bottle (of regular diameter) inside the purse, if you can spare the room. COLOR CHOICE: I'll probably want to order more of these because I love them so much, but I find the other colors offered just awful (navy, hot pink, burgundy). Does anybody else wish it came in some nice muted pastels (esp blue), a neutral beige, and perhaps a mellow brown or light grey? I'd probably buy ALL these if it did... Happy hunting, everyone!

I never thought I would like a purse that is a vinyl type material but I can wipe it down, it is awesome. The purse has a pocket for everything and I can clean it. I love this purse. Very good quality as well. Oh my gosh it's like the old products, not the junk you get now days, honestly it is fantastic quality and so easy to keep things organized. Thank you for this, and it was pretty cheap when you consider everything the above ie quality, size material and opinion.

LOVE MY BURGUNDY PURSE. My glasses are in one of the end pockets and my cell in the other end pocket. Not sure an I-phone would fit. My phone is a slimmer Android. I've got pockets to spare, WHICH IS GREAT! I don't have to go digging for my keys, a tissue, my earbuds, etc. This would be a great travel purse. I was afraid that maybe it will be too big. I'm 5'5" and this purse fits me. No, my HP laptop doesn't fit, but then I don't need it to fit . . . just a comment for you who want to know. I did order the large purse. Love the color, ease of use, storage is fantastic! Zipper is great and it's a light weight purse. The color makes it look rich.

I got the Large. Great size for carrying loads of little stuff plus room for a tablet and book. Zippers are on all the outside pockets so things don't fall out. Expands when the inside is filled so it carries more than it looks. Quality stitching. The only drawback is there is not padded area on the shoulder strap. The stap is nylon so it cuts in. I bought a car safety belt pad and added to the shoulder strap. Very comfortable.

I love a purse with pockets but I was hesitant to buy a purse online without actually touching it and looking through it. This one exceeded my expectations. I love my purse to be organized and not have to rummage around to find things. I never thought I would find a purse with almost too many pockets. Each one has a zipper to form its own compartment. Inside the purse are two zippered compartments, one large one for receipts, bandaids, eyeglass cleaners, large paper receipts. Next to it is a smaller pocket with zipper for cash. The way it is designed makes it hard to find and it becomes a zipper compartment inside a zipper compartment. The large interior is roomy enough for credit card holders and billfolds with business cards. Inside is also a two pocket system designed to hold your cell phone and checkbooks or glass cases. Easily slips in and out because there is no zipper on them. The outside pocket is large and roomy for hand sanitizer, combs, pens, aspirin containers, dental picks and more. The other outside pocket is also very roomy and can hold tubes of hand lotion and lots more. Next to it is the smaller outside pocket where I keep my keys. Quick and easy to grab the zipper and pull out my keys while I am juggling handfuls or other stuff to get in the door.. On either side of the purse on the outside is a small pouch with elastic top to hold it closed and not gap. I haven’t found a use for these two pockets yet because everything is securely zipped inside my purse. I can also pop my IPad inside the roomy interior. It is not the 10” screen but the smaller screen IPad. If you consider it a negative, it would be the silky strap that can extend to short or long length to carry or slip over your shoulder. It is a wide strap and is made from sturdy material. Because of the material, it does want to slide off my shoulder. I usually lengthen the strap and slip it over my head to keep my hands free while out in public. Even with that one small drawback, I would definitely buy this purse again.

This is a very nice looking, roomy, lightweight bag. It has an easily adjustable strap that's made of a slippery fabric that can easily slide off your shoulder but since I wear it as a cross body bag, it's not an issue for me. Though I haven't had it long enough to get it dirty, I think it would probably wash well in the washing machine. I love purses with pockets so it's odd for me to complain about too many of them. I like the ones on the outside (3 zippered ones on one side and 1 zippered pocket on the other). These are good for a phone, hand sanitizer, keys, or other items needed quickly, but there are some pockets whose purpose is unclear. For example there are two on either end of the bag that appear to hold water bottles or maybe a very small foldable umbrella. I know of no water bottle that would fit in either pocket and my umbrella doesn't fit. Maybe they're for eye glasses, though if I had expensive ones, I probably wouldn't use them since I'd be afraid they'd fall out. There are 2 zippered compartments on the inside and it's hard to know how to use them. I use one for loose change, even though it's really way too large for that. I keep the other one closed to avoid accidentally placing something in there. And then there are two additional compartments without zippers. I find it tricky to organize this purse. I've owned other bags that seem more obvious: a space that's the shape of a phone, a small space for change, small slots for pens, etc. This one is all over the place. One thing I wish the bag would include would be an integrated hook to clip keys. With all that's going on inside, it's easy to lose them and aggravating to have to look through TEN different sections to find them. I like the bag -- the color (navy) is nice and I like how I can fit so much into it. But with all the pockets, it's so easy to lose track of where I put things and that can be really annoying. I'll figure it out eventually but I wouldn't buy this bag again. Note to company: less is more.

I love this purse. This is my second one, in a different color. It is perfect. Lots of room and many pockets.

Like the title says. Picked this up to use as a small carry-on, but has been fantastic for day to day. I've never been one for purses at all (usually use a small backpack), but the storage is great. The zippers are strong, and the strap adjusts smoothly. My tablet fits well and smaller books can fit nicely too. I'm admittedly not gentle with my bags, and this purse has withstood alot. Accidentally spilled hot chocolate on it, and was able to wipe it off no problem.
