Works as advertised
I used these as part of a "step down" from the M12 female threads of 15mm DSLR rig tubing in order to attach said tubing to an IKEA table's M5 screws. M5 up to M8 (different adapter), and then this adapter to go from M8 to M12. It worked perfectly.
