Bought this to my daughters for Christmas. It is very good for Beginners. and it is a very good value for money. This helped me to save a lot of money to see my kids' interests before buying the expensive one.

This kids’ telescope was incredibly disappointing. I fell for the hype and positive reviews, but trust me, save your money. The build quality feels cheap, the lenses barely show anything, and the image is so blurry it’s impossible for a child to enjoy. This is a lovely Telescope for a child up to the age of 10 say . Its nicely finished , very light to hold and operate . And its because its so light that it might cause problems . Take this outside and a light wind would make it move or wobble . From indoors though , though an open window it would be Ok . It looks good though and to a budding astronomer would be a good starter kit . The magnifications isn't brilliant - x times 90 , but you can see - on a clear night, with some effort and twiddling - the craters of the moon . Essentially its a well made toy , that works . The included glossy instruction book is well finished and nicely made , with clear instructions. Might make a nice Birthday or Christmas present . ( I've placed a measuring tape alongside in one of the pictures to give perspective. )

I ordered the NASA Lunar Telescope for Kids for my 6 year old son as a Christmas 2025 present. He has several books about space and is fascinated by science and space exploration. The product arrived well packaged and in immaculate condition idealing for gifting. The NASA lunar telescopic offers exceptional value for anyone getting started with astronomy. The item is sold by National Geographic in association with Blue Marble known for its extensive array of high quality National Geographic STEM products. It comes complete with the compact lunar telescope, tabletop tripod, low power and high power eye piece, lens dust cap and an instruction booklet with learner guide. The key feature is that it enables you to see the moon up close and in incredible detail for a starter telescope. It is very easy to assemble and to use, and we completed the setup in less than 5 minutes. The tabletop version is extremely handy if you are limited for space and to position the telescope close to a window. The 2 eye pieces enable you to see either 18x for high-level detail and 90x for granular detail of the moons surface. The 90x magnification is very effective and after some practice, we were able to clearly see the surface texture. The finder scope is positioned on the top of the telescope and is handy to locate distant objects in the night sky. The recommended age of 8 years old seems to be accurate and my son required quite a lot of help to get started. He has shown a lot of interest and initially spent 45-minutes exploring different sections of the night sky. I'm confident he will grow into using it more regularly and particularly on clear and dry nights. Each item appears to be well manufactured with no defects, marks or imperfections. It is also easy to take apart and to store away, as the telescope is compact and lightweight. The instruction booklet and learner guide is detailed but relatively clear and easy to follow. Overall, an exceptional quality telescope that makes an ideal gift for someone starting to explore space. The product seems competitively priced compared to similar products on the market.

Well as per my 6 years old daughter, shes able to see more the moon with more details better than using this telescope. And shes right. Its so light it keeps on falling quickly or move easily with any slight shake. The vision clarity is basic as nothing special. Would have preferred to pay extra 200 and got a more efficient one.

Ottimo per principianti . Molto stabile e facile da montare. Ho avuto problemi con la spedizione: il pacco, purtroppo, è arrivato in ritardo, semi distrutto, addirittura senza la classica confezione Amazon e quindi con l'etichetta "appiccicata" maldestramente sull'esterno della confezione ... dunque di impossibile rimozione (senza evitare ulteriori danni) ... E pensare che era un regalo..... . Il problema, però, è stato risolto brillantemente dal venditore cui va il mio plauso.
