Relatively pet safe, Seemingly effective and fast-acting
I chose these bait traps because of the indication of relative safety for pets as well as efficacy. Very happily, my pets seem to have absolutely no interest in these traps, but the ants sure do!I initially put out one bait station near an observed ant track and entry/exit point. Once it started attracting ants, it helped me find two other ant tracks (and all the tiny cracks in grout, etc. that I will fill after the ants are gone). Ultimately, I put out three traps, one for each observed ant track, in a medium sized bathroom. Each trap began attracting ants within several hours of placement. The ants seem to be responding as promised: eating the bait and returning to their nests. The number of ants coming to the bait stations has decreased significantly since the initial frenzy 7 days ago so I assume the bait is working. After c. 5 days, I no longer saw any ants near the 1st ant track identified. 7 days after initial placement, there are still a few ants coming to the other two bait stations. I am cautiously optimistic all ants will be cleared up within a few more days max; there is still bait gel in the stations and ants are still entering and leaving the bait stations. One trap seemed to attract many more ants than the other two, and this is where I've seen the best, fastest result. No clue whether there was any minor difference in the bait, slightly different ants in each ant track (I sure hope not multiple infestations...), etc.I ordered more of these bait stations in an abundance of caution to ensure total elimination of the infestation and as: 1) I am not certain how long the bait remains effective once the bait station as been opened and activated, and 2) I accidentally flooded one when I left it in the shower area, and am not certain whether I may have accidentally ruined that bait. I'd appreciate it if anyone reading can clarify re: my concerns.I know there are lots of types of ants, and this product seems to be working well for those I am battling: black, average size, attracted to sugar-based food (eg previous honey vs peanut butter test), showing up primarily in the bathroom and not the kitchen/near obvious food sources.

Great product to get rid of the pest
Really impressed with these ant bait stations. They’re small, discreet and incredibly easy to put down, so you can place them exactly where you’ve noticed the ants without making a mess or having anything unsightly lying around. What I particularly like is how straightforward they are to use. Just put them in position and let them do their job. They’re a much neater solution than constantly spraying ants, and having three stations in the pack means you can cover several areas at once. They’ve been really effective for dealing with the problem, and I’ve noticed a big difference rather than just temporarily getting rid of the ants I can see.A simple, convenient and effective product that does exactly what you want it to. Very pleased with it and would definitely buy again.

It may take a few tries before you kill them all
This is the only review that’s going to give you an honest idea of how these ant traps work. They’re very simple to use, HOWEVER, they’re not a miracle killer. In fact, they don’t kill majority of the ants in the trap. Perhaps the ants go and die in the nest? Probably. When you put these traps out, give it a few minutes to an hour for the ants to start scurrying in. They get in the trap and eat the gel and they will continue to walk in and out. DO NOT TOUCH OR MOVE THE TRAP! When you do this, the ants scurry away and get out. Just leave it. After 24 hours, check the trap, IF there are still live ants around the trap, don’t move it. LEAVE IT! They’re not dead yet. I had to set up a total of 4 traps before they finally died. I noticed when the problem really ended, there were no ants around AT ALL! Not outside the trap, nothing! The other traps I removed thinking I got rid of them but they were probably just sleeping or too full to move 🤣🤣In summary. Set the trap. Leave it. Don’t touch it. If they don’t all die, set another one. Only love the traps when you stop seeing live ants.Otherwise, for the price? It’s a pretty decent fix for an in house ant infestation

Perfect product in every sense. Buy it.
Absolutely great. Attracted ants. Wiped them out just as you would hope. I developed a tip for you: don't just squeeze the bait into the access chamber, because it leaves some behind in the access chamber. So, use a Stanley knife to cut slashes into the access chamber as well, so the ants can get directly in there. This gives you twice as much bait because, otherwise, half was left locked up in the crumpled access chamber. Definitely buy this product. I tried others which were rubbish and did not work at all. Quite expensive, but money well spent! No ants in my garden now.

worked at first
Worked great at first but now I think it’s like honey to them and they can munch it all day long

What a disappointment
I would of like to say 5 star even 4.But now after buying these & using them I would of said no stars...But Amazon won't let me so I will give it a 1 star.I bought these as they look good compact and also reading the reviews...Main reason my regular ant killer in a sringe was out of stock.I decided to give these a go.I bought 2 packets which gave me 6 in total to use. But what a disappointment & a total waste of money! I used 3 the gel in side is all glumpy & looks nothing like the photo of them, the gel inside the ant trap stays in glumps. I am not happy as they are not cheap. If by any chance at all they start to attract the ants and start to do the job.I will update my review. In the meantime I will try then next packet of 3 and hope they work.At this point in time I am not optimistic...Fingers crossed they work...If they work great but if they don't work.zzI have wasted a lot of money. And hope that my usual ant killer comes back into stock really soon. Please hurry up.Or I will have to look at other the ant killers. I am 1 angry and upset customer..

Kills the colony - may need a few rounds
This stuff does work. If you have a big colony, you may need a few rounds. I've gone trough two packs and about to do what I hope will be the final one. Each pack has 3 bait stations inside a single foil bag. Take one of the stations out, snap the end of the plastic, squeeze the bait so it goes into the chamber and place it you see the ants most. They'll swarm it and start taking the poison back to the nest. I was worried about using poison as I have a pet rabbit. But, I put them where he does not go and it was alright. For me, things with the colony felt worse before they got better. At first, I saw more of them, different sizes and different places. I put out a second pack. They swarmed those. That time a lot died inside the station. I am now seeing fewer ants. I still see a few here and there. If this happens again, I am going to just buy this stuff right away and attack full force - no faffing about with vinegar or trying to use a single bait station. It does work and means you don't need to spray nasty chemicals everywhere, so its a bit of a neater solution especially if you have pets.
