Did not work for listed laptop, cable wasn't pre bent. Waste of time.

Works great on HP Notebook - 17-by2075cl for installing SSD Sata Drive
This cable was purchased for (HP Notebook - 17-by2075cl) that particular model wasn't listed in the description but decided to purchase it anyway because listing mentioned this cable supporting some hp models starting with "17-by" tags and it works, just make sure to insert the ribbon cable blue side up onto the board then snap close the plastic part.

I just bought this one cause it was one of the cheapest ones i installed it in with a seagate sshd folded the cable to make it fit and it works fine i have an hp whisper silver and works great

Brought this to add an ssd to my HP which only came with 256GB PCIe drive. Works with my Samsung 860 1TB drive. No I can download my apps and games.

Worked on my 17 inch hp laptop 17-by0000
To make it fit, I had to add a third twist onto the cable to have it line up . But it worked fine though...

Worked like a charm
It is disappointing that HP did not provide this with their laptops that don't have a second hard drive, but this fits and works.
