I'm genuinely surprised at how many people were not able to use peeps, they're actually pretty good! The thing is that they require a SIGNIFICANT amount of pressure to work properly, there's almost a bit of technique to it to be honest. They initially always smear, but using pressure and circular motions they completely eradicate the smears very quickly. I actually remember being annoyed with peeps at first now that I'm writing this review, I believe I even stopped using them for a while in frustration. But I came back to them because of their convenient size, I was tired of having a handkerchief in my pocket that would always get dirty over time. Once I started really using the peeps I began to understand the benefits, they clean very well, they stay clean for a really long time, they fit perfectly in your pocket, and the brush is pretty useful if you have dry skin or dandruff as it removes large particles that would otherwise smear easily. I've been using peeps for well over a year now and have many of them, I keep one anywhere I think I may need to clean my glasses, the car, my jacket pocket, backpack, really they've come in handy so many times I don't know how I lived without them! I can confidently recommend that you try peeps if you need something that will consistently clean your glasses and is easy to use and carry, they're the best solution I've come across in my many years of wearing glasses.

First I was recommended these and having never heard of them I thought the concept was pretty unique. My main concern was obviously scratching my lens, while never say never i think using these peeps lens cleaner properly you shouldn’t have to worry about that. I’ve used them daily for routine and optimum smudge free lens and no scratches. So after using them a few times now I can say these clean quickly and very efficiently. With just very minimum technique involved. I don’t know how long the pads will last me but currently the replacement pads are out of stock for the peeps “official” replacement pads so if that matters to you just be aware. I’m someone who uses lens cleaner wipes and will be forgoing those from now on because I’m a fan of the peeps.

These work as intended and are pretty well designed. They even kind of "clean themselves" after you clean your glasses. There is a felt interior piece that it rubs against when putting them away that removes some of the grime that came off your glasses. So far so good. My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are made of pretty cheap plastic (like most things in the world now). I definitely feel like these will break sooner rather than later. I was expecting them to be a little more sturdy for the price.

I had been wanting to try this device for quite a while. I had watched videos on it, and read the claims on the amazon web page, and finally decided to give it a try. But sadly for me a 70 year old male, I found it to not be as advertised. It was much more difficult than the ads show intimated. I realized that nearly every other glass cleaning routine I have ever used, was actually easier than this. Really the tiny bottle of glass cleaner I carry and rag is super easy, and actually less bulky than the Peeps device. And ay home a quick spritz from the spray bottle with dish detergent at the sink is easy. And both of those result in a very clean glasses in just moments. But the Peeps were not easy, and they are definitely in my experience not as quick. But hey, these occasional mismatches are really not a threat on Amazon right? If we run into a mismatch, or an item that just does not seem to match the advertisement, we are covered right? Wrong. Not on this item anyway. When I went to send it back, I was directed to the Peeps Customer Non-Support team. I happily went there, and requested a return, and kindly shared with them my personal mismatch for their product. To my utter surprise, they without even a sorry in the sentence, said “We will not accept your return, since it was bought though Amazon, we consider them a third party.” Click…..dial tone. OK well that was that. I guess all we can do now is try to warn others. The product for me is not a time saver. It is no smaller in my pocket that a tiny bottle of eyeglass cleaner, and it most definitely took a lot more effort, and time to get my glasses clean. In the ads it shows it just cleaning in a single easy rub. Not! At least not in my several uses of it. I hope this helps someone else not experience the disappointment I did.

Expensive but useful *while they last*. Mine lost efficacy after around a year. I wouldn't really recommend them highly because of that timeframe.

This a fantastic product! I am very particular about cleaning my glasses. I have a very oily head and my glasses get oil smudges just from wearing them, not to mention when someone touches the lenses or pushes them against my head!!!! I find that the single wipes are decent but tend to leave residue and are inconvenient to carry. I find that dish soap removes the oil very well, but it's still difficult to get a perfectly clean lens when it comes time to dry the lenses. This product works fantastic! It does still take a couple of passes sometimes to get all of the oil streaks removed, but nothing to date has been able to do this reliably! It's a bit bulky to carry in a pocket, but I am perfectly willing to do so knowing that it will work! I hesitated because of the price and some of the reviews, but I would purchase all over again! Update 11/13/16. Still loving this product! Nothing gets my lenses as reliably clean. I have found that very greasy\oily lenses require additional cleaning first. I find it easiest to use a cleaning wipe and then the peeps once dry.

assumed I bought an original and based on what it is suppose to do, a lens cloth does much better. It does not totally clean and leaves some marks as compared to the traditional cloth for eyeglasses

I always have dirty glasses and am always trying to clean them leading to smearing and smudging. This product is a game changer! Clear glasses!! Easy to use and easy to take with you in a pocket! Highly recommend!!
