Solidly built. All the features you would want if you are an avid DIY type. Backlight is great and instructions are thorough and excellent for a novice. For the price, this is a great addition to your tool box. HOLDPEAK has several meters with various features. I own this and another (TACH/DWELL automotive diagnostic) and they are both quite impressive for the price. Multi-meter totally unstable in DC setting. Testing batteries I got readings wandering all over the place as compared to myFluke Multi-meter. Very unreliable. A waste of money..

Good price, works as well as the one I was assigned at work that costs 10x as much. Wish it had some aligator clamps and a magnet strap on the back, but at the price point I wouldn't expect it.

I like the features and simplicity, but it has some fundamental flaws. Often gives incorrect voltage readings, off by hundreds of volts. Resistance readings take several seconds to stabilize each reading and are inaccurate by ~10%. I wanted a cheap meter to take on road calls, and this meter is doing that, but is a nuisance and can't let someone else use it. The leads are too short and of low quality, but I assumed that would be so before I bought it. Feels a little light and cheesy, but it looks really nice though.

3 stars because it works good on AC voltages and continuity plus it is not expensive.But it doesn't measure low voltage DC, the meter jumps all over the place, and useless when checking ohms on resisters.

A good multi-meter if it cost $30. At $12 it's a GREAT meter. I haveone that cost $50 and it's not as accurate. (The HP lab meter I have thatcost over $600 verified this.) As noted elsewhere, the kickstand needsa binder clip to keep it open (due to the too-wide connection band of itsotherwise excellent shock-absorbing jacket)... and it's selector switchis a bit hard to turn. It's capacitance measurement (which zeros outthe lead capacitance when you press the blue button) and frequencymeasurements are accurate as well. And there aren't many meters atthis price that have a micro-amp range. So, yes, five stars.

Junk. Not only did it arrive unfunctional the connecter for the 9v battery was loose on one of the terminals. Had it worked, it's unlikely it would have lasted long with any descent about of use. Stay away.

Tested it on house outlet voltage and close-loop resistance, seems to be working. Don't know about accuracy of other measurements since I don't have other instruments to compare with (this is replacement for a broken multimeter). For simple measurements for house chores accuracy is not required anyway. Construction feels solid enough to last for years which is good for a multimeter at a low price point.
