Cuts as expected

Very safe but needs some work
So I bought two if these for my company. The design is such that it is nearly impossible to hurt yourself which is great. The magnet on the back is terrific for storing the cutter on flat metal surfaces such as cubicle metal trim. This item works on specific package tape. If the tape is very thick or has tough woven fibers in it it is difficult to use. The package must be taped in such a way for the tool to plunge in to a crevice and then start cutting tape. Trying to plunge the tool directly in to packaging tape will result in snapping the tool ends off. Once again, thin packaging tape cuts easy. Anything else is a problem. This thing just sits around unused for the most part. Would not buy again.
