These are pretty darn incredible!
I make country ribs in my Instant Pot all the time. For leftovers, I usually shred the pork and make sandwiches out of them. In doing that -- and by not knowing any better -- I take a knife and fork and slowly cut up each piece of meat. It's a time-consuming process. I never knew about these shredder claws. I actually found them in a website listing of the top Amazon gadgets that people should own. It immediately caught my eye, and for the insanely low price, I figured I would give it a try. Today I went to prepare my country rib leftovers for pulled pork sandwiches. This time I used the Bear Claws. What a difference! You use one claw to grip the meat and the other to shred. As the pieces get smaller, you can use both simultaneously to shred your meat to the desired consistency. The claws are very sharp and very powerful. The fact that your hands wrap inside the claws gives you the power. The claws themselves are made from hard plastic, are pretty sharp, and I would advise people to be careful touching them. I would also not recommend using this on non-stick cookware unless it's in good condition. Cleaning is super easy. Basically, they clean themselves with water. If you sponge the hand area of the claws with soapy water, that will run down the claws themselves thus preventing you from having to touch them. If you do want to clean around the claws, just be careful, that's all. Of course, you can simply throw these in the dishwasher. I would call this an essential kitchen gadget for anyone that wants to shred pork or chicken. It works very well for those purposes and I would recommend these Bear Claws very highly!

Works great!
I bought these for my husband to use when he shreds meat for pulled pork and they work great. They are heavy duty and are not flimsy, very good quality.

Bear's Paws Win versus Man's Forks
I'm not sure how they would hold up in a bear-fight, but for use on the grill, they pull their weight! If you have ever smoked a pork-butt for making pulled-pork, you are reading the right review. I have started smoking meat this past year and have fallen in love with it. Spending a good Saturday at home with the family while the smoker is churning out that thin-blue smoke is what life is all about. I have had some friends and family over as it's time to pull that wonderful hunk of meat (ladies.. not your husband) off the grill and dig in. That's where the problems begin, you have to wrestle with a 200 degree piece of meat onto a tray to take it inside, then you need to shred it up a little bit. Using forks, you go after it and spend 20 minutes making sure everything is pulled to the right sizes and now you get to start eating (unless you started as it came off the grill, like I do). Imagine life a little easier: The Bear Paw 2000 (minus the 2000 part..) After wrestling with big chunks of meat on the grill, I knew there had to be an easier way so I began to research. I came upon the Bear Paw Meat Handler Forks and decided to pull the trigger. I can say that from the first pork-butt pulled from the grill, they were already worth the money. I let the paws dig into my hunk of meat to lift it off the grill and took everything inside for the long and tedious part: pulling the pork. The thing is, it wasn't long and tedious at all! I was able to turn a 20-minute project into less than 5-minutes on my first try. I can now pull two full pork-butts in about 5 minutes (while taking time to snack on a few pieces). These are a game-changer, and they clean up easily. You can put them on the top-shelf of your dishwasher and clean-up is done! I have no regrets, and you shouldn't either! If you have any questions, just comment and I will get to it as soon as possible!

Almost Perfect
I am comparing these "Bear Paws Meat Claws" to this "other product," https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CVSSGK5N, and a pair of forks. Pros: Comfortable grip Sharp tips Cons: Not enough tines/claws I used these to shred chicken breasts for some crock pot chick and noodles. While they were comfortable to grip, they did not have enough claws/tines to make the work fast and efficient. The "other product," while not as comfortable, was able to deliver better results faster. That said, I would rather use a pair of forks over either product. Your mileage may vary, so I would encourage anyone to give them a try. I will probably gift them to someone and see if they like them better than I did.

Definitely Not For Everyone
commercial grade for home use. better than using two forks. great presentation in front of guests. Wow. not many uses except to shred "pulled" proteins. just don't forget to use the right pan to do this in.

Ever wanted to be a grizzly?
These Bear Paws shredders give you 6 claws per hand where a real grizzly bear has only 5 - but who's counting? I admit I wasn’t a believer. Yes, I’m old school. A special meat shredding tool seemed ridiculous when forks are cheaper and always handy. You should see me go at a leg of lamb with a couple of salad forks. Then I got my paws on these Bear Paws and my opinion promptly changed. The shredding is easy and much more comfortable than I thought it would be. The more times you pull the meat through the claws, the thinner it shreds, and it almost makes no difference how tough the cut is. These shredding tools are amazingly sharp, made of nylon so they can take high heat and are easy to wash. Slipping my fingers through the grips gave me a rush of power and efficiency I had never experienced. They stay in my kitchen drawer, safely tucked in the back, so other family members’ hands pawing around for other utensils won’t get shredded. I’m sold. Highly recommended. You’re welcome!

Makes Hog roasts super easy
These were a hit at the family pig roast this year. Deboning the pig was so quick and easy and the meat shredded beautifully. No burnt fingers this year.

Great stuff.
Good quality item. Very useful. Once you use these you’ll never go back to shredding meat with a fork again. Absolutely love it. Fast delivery.
