I got the 6 foot 2-inch bar and on the scale, it weights around 26.8 lbsit is solid with knurled grips and ribbed plate holders so they don't slide off easily. it also came with two spring claps and that was a surprise as I did not see that in the description.overall a good bar. only 4 stars because of the price. honestly, Academy had a very similar bar for less.

Putting together a home gym and needed an Olympic bar. This thing arrived in Hawaii within two weeks, which is lightning fast when you can find someone that actually ships here, and am totally happy with the condition and quality. Solid bar. Well worth the price.

Initially ordered the item over a month ago. The bar came with 2 clips. The bar was fine, 1/2 clips were unfinished, which left sharp metal shavings that caused small minor cuts. This was not even the issue. I was informed that a 2nd package was supposed to come by the end of the day which would have the 85lbs of plates. The weights never came. After many discussions with amazon, I waited to see if the package would arrive. There was never any updates and the item expected date was continuously extended. I saw that the item was available and after about a month decided to cancel the replacement order and just reorder the item. It's been 12 days and no updates on shipping. To my surprise, I see that the item description [Signature Fitness Cast Iron Olympic 2-Inch Weight Plates Including 7FT Olympic Barbell, 130-Pound Set (85 Pounds Plates + 45 Pounds Barbell), Multiple Packages, Style #7] remains the same but the image of the items has changed. I'm just annoyed at this point, it's been about a month and a half and I guess I was just foolishly waiting. Hoping for some resolution.

Once gyms closed down against, we needed to get a barbell that is equivalent for workouts. The weight is perfect for all standard lifts - bench press, overhead press, squats, deadlift, curls, rows, skullcrushers. In short, minimal plates or none for solid maintenance. Good quality, knurled. Great value...

Been using this for almost two months and it has been flawless. I have limited space at home to work out and the 6 ft bar is just right for me being 6 ft tall. I can get a very wide grip for bench pressing if I want to.Weight for the bar is 33.4 lbs. if anyone is wondering.Only complaints is the bar wasn’t packaged the best and the packaging tube did come ripped. I could tell someone tried to tape it up, but I was expecting this as it was mentioned in other reviews and also happened to my curl bar. But, after a thorough visual inspection and test of the bearings in the bar, there were no defects to be found.

Buyers beware- if you want to lift heavy, don't be an idiot- buy a 2" bar. 1" bars just can't handle heavy weights.But anyways, I got the 2", 6', 30 pound bar. It's holding up pretty much fine when I load it up with 300lb. The only thing I've seen wrong with it is that there's slight indentation on one of the sides where my heaviest plates sit. Not sure if this is from the plates, but I didn't notice until I'd lifted with this for a while.Regardless, this is a good deal for its price and I'd recommend.

I received this bar fast and it was really well built. I bought the 6' bar and had to return due to it not fitting my power rack. They do offer a 7' bar that will fit a power rack. Just be sure to check your measurements against the bar dimensions inside the collars.

This is the second 6" bar I purchased, the first was a 1" and this 2". The 1" had no damage, this bar obviously is damaged. It's apparent it was dropped at some point which caused the metal to form a lip at the end. Now when I slide the plates off they get stuck at the end of the barbell and I have to wiggle it to get it off! It's quite annoying everytime I switch plates. Other than that, the bar is fine. I wish I could say that about the packaging.
