Modway Lily Tufted Linen Fabric Upholstered Full Headboard in Gray

I’m really pleased with the quality and visual appeal! It is the look our bedroom needed. Color is perfect and probably falls into the “navy blue” category but leans slightly “indigo”. Easy to install! I set it at 50” from top to floor. I have a Mattress Firm base and was able to secure it with pressure (without attaching it to a frame). Also - I read about smell issues in previous reviews, but I did not smell anything.

Great product for the price! I had no idea what to expect for a headboard in this price range, but I'm so glad I took the risk! This is a very attractive headboard. The fabric is exactly what I wanted, smooth without a whole lot of texture. I found the color to be a true grey without the blue or green tones that some grey has. This was easy to install with the included hardware. I did it by myself, but it would have been so much easier with two people. Because of our baseboard moulding this didn't sit flush against the wall and wobbled a bit as a result. This was a very easy fix with those sticky felt pads you can get for the feet of your furniture. I got the thick pads and that provided just the right amount of depth to keep this from knocking against the wall, which is not something you want in a headboard. I didn't have any issues with the screws sticking out and damaging the wall. I inserted the screws so that the head of the bolt was on the wall side and the shaft of the bolt pointed towards the mattress, this worked great for me. The only complaint I have is that I would have preferred the legs of the headboard to be white, but this really isn't a big deal since you only see a tiny bit of them. I'm sure more people would want the espresso color, so I think I am in the minority. I may paint them in the future, but it's really not that big a deal. All in all, a great product at an amazing price point!

I like it it looks nice, it was easy to assemble. The only thing that I don't like is that it's not very stable, I have bolts as tight as they will go. I have it against a wall but when you move around you can hear it it the wall. I guess I will put something between the wall to stop that. Thats why I only gave it four stars.

I absolutely love this headboard! I looked and looked for a nice modern headboard, but one that wasn't going to break the bank. I was so happy when I found this one! It was out of stock at first, but I just kept looking it up and one day it was there waiting for me to order it! The color in real life is a slightly darker gray than what is shown on my computer screen, but I love it! I just wanted gray, not a specific shade of it. It came in one large flat box, the exact size of the headboard, and was super easy to put together. I put the legs on and had it behind the bed in like 5 minutes. We have a platform bed (Mandal from Ikea), and a pillow top mattress (not from Ikea, but from a real mattress store). I was a little worried that this headboard was going to be too tall for our platform style bed, but on the lowest notch it is perfect!! The bottom of the headboard sits just below the top of our mattress. Our bed also has drawers, so we weren't sure how attaching this headboard would go, but we ended up just putting it behind the bed, scooting up the mattress, and it is secure without having to be installed at all! The headboard is sturdy, the fabric is tough and seems like it will last (kind of a thicker linen feel), and it is a really nice addition to our room. I have had it for about 2 months now, with no issues. We love it and for the style and quality, the price cannot be beat!

I purchased this headboard for an XL twin metal bedframe that I also ordered from Amazon. The holes on the legs lined up nicely, but I still reinforced two corner areas with some extra long zip ties. As is, the headboard is secure and rests against the wall, so it doesn't really wobble. The adjusted height of the headboard sits right above the mattress, leaving no gap for the pillows to slide in to. I would have liked that the headboard be lower, but then the mattress would end up hanging over the (foot) end of the bedframe by several inches, because the headboard is thick and nicely padded. Wall mounting the frame was an option, but since the room's furniture will likely be rearranged in the future, I didn't want to go that route. The legs are a black/dark painted wood, which is what I wanted so they blend in with the black bedframe.

This is a GREAT bedframe and priced very well. So why the 3-star review? It is NOT explained in the description that you need a flat surface on the bedframe that you are connecting it to. I have included photos to show, but if you are like me, and purchased an Amazon bedframe, they are attached by "rounded" screws that don't lay flush along the frame. So when you tighten the bedframe to the base, it's not a flush fit. For now, this will work, but I see a potential issue in the future after weeks/months of shifting on the bed where the bedframe support bars can snap or break.
