Flint Igniter G.C. Fuller Shurlite Shoot-A-Lite 322-710

I bought this for my outdoor hiking/survival kit. It throws sparks with the ease of pulling a trigger. It may not be the most compact or lightest fire starting option, but it works so easy. You aim where you want the spark to go and you pull the trigger. This would work great for anyone who may struggle with the coordination required to strike a ferrocerium rod with a striker to start a fire, but still wants to avoid the use of a Bic lighter. I did get it wet to test its function when wet. It will not work properly when it is soaked, but simply by blowing on the flint/striker area of the lighter, I was able to quickly bring it back to life. I realize that outdoor fire starting is not the intended purpose of this device, but it does work great for doing it. Point it at a oil-soaked cotton ball, pull the trigger, and voila. FIRE!

it broke the same day i got it
