My favorite textbook!
I absolutely love this textbook. The figures are so great and really help to reinforce concepts. Explanations of new material is easily understandable and there are questions after every chapter! Careful with the online access, I got a code that didn't work for me. It was a brand new, and never used code, but it was for a newer version of MasteringBiology, so check with your professor if you need it! Other than that, LOVE this book!

I am very satisfied with this product. It was the book that I was needing for my intro biology college class. I was very surprised by how high of a quality this product was for being used! It was also much cheaper than what this product was offered for at the book store.

Rent here instead of campus bookstores
Needed the book for a lecture course. It's a great book for the class, but honestly didn't use it much. Save yourself from your school bookstore and just rent it here. It's cheaper and won't break the bank for your textbooks.

Still allows me to study but looks ugly.
It has USED BOOK stickers embarrassingly displayed ALL OVER the book.I tried to peel them off and it took the cover with it.Now I get to pass it along to another poor college student making them look stupid like I get to look. They will get it for SUPER CHEAP.

It met my focus
It was exactly the book I wanted. It was in great condition, and though this is a book I need for college, any Biology major should consider getting this. The best part about this book: I actually got it. I ordered this book twice from Half-Priced Books and they cancelled my order, twice, along with another book I needed for my classes. So yes, I am very satisfied and happy with this book.

Better format than most lecturers
One of the best-written physical or life science textbooks I've ever had the pleasure of being forced to read. The material in this book is presented better than most college biology professors can beat in a lecture format. Beneficial for students taking biology just to pass for lab science credits, as well as students intending to continue on to a degree which requires it.

Beyond great deal (school price was $400)
Had to get this book for my biology class, the book of crap (not the condition, that was great) but the price was very good here then at university. it was about $400 for this same book.
