Easy to set up and very sturdy. We purchased this as a gift for a family member to have some covered space outside for relaxing and gardening and it was perfect. They are very happy with it. 11/10 would buy again.

I haven't had it in heavy winds but based on first impressions, some of the varied responses may be due to setup. Some of the discrepancy may be because people didn't tie down all the straps along the inside ribs of the canopy along with stakes (replace with longer ones is best) and use the weighted bags. I purchased a return from amazon, the box was damaged but the rest of the materials inside were brand new and seems to work great! for about $130 it was a steal! Although it takes a bit more time, it can be setup and put away by one person. Good enough for the west coast FL beaches & mesh is great for handling mosquitoes in the park.

My first review was 5 stars, however after using it for the second time, the frame broke. We returned it and received a replacement.......the frame broke on that one also. We're disappointed because it looks great, had plenty of room, it would have been perfect except that it won't last long. I give Amazon 5 stars for their return policy......we buy a lot more on line through Amazon as a result.

ABC Canopies are real beasts, sturdy and durable. This is our first one with mesh walls to make a screen tent and while it is definitely as sturdy as we expected, it feels a bit like something put together by a committee. The canopy is pretty standard and goes up easily enough. But it’s almost as if the mesh walls were thrown in as an afterthought and don’t really go with the rest of the apparatus. No instructions were included for the walls, lending credence to this suspicion. It’s not clear whether they are supposed to hang outside the legs or inside, and they don’t really work well either way. Outside, they prevent the canopy from being strapped to the legs properly. Inside, they bow inward because the legs are not holding the corners apart, and leave gaps where bugs can get in, defeating the purpose of a screen tent. The walls also have no grommets so cannot be affixed to the ground, leaving them to blow in the breeze and, again, let the bugs in. I wish we had spent more for something more thoughtfully designed.

The tent with the screen protects you from most insects especially mosquitoes. If it rains too hard, the water tends to collect on one side of the tent top cover, and must be thrown off to prevent it from collapsing. Use with the sand bags to keep it sturdy in windy conditions. But if it is a thunderstorm or storm, it’s best to take the tent down or at least take the top cover off.
