Pay attention to battery (+) marks inside the case. Normally, the negative side goes against the springs. On this device, one (+) side goes against the spring. I saw one (+) sign in the right spot and assumed normal positioning. It would not come on. I packed it up for a return and decided to review the comments and found that one of the pix above shows correct positioning. Fixed it and now I am pleased with it. Everything is as advertised. Bright display - One of my reasons for picking this model are the blue numerals. Blue is the brightest of the LEDs. One happy surprise is that it automatically rotates the display according to position of the monitor. I had not seen feature listed when I bought it. O2 level is what I would expect. I will check pulse rate against my blood pressure machine. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.

Bought this to get through a bout of Covid. Basically to keep an eye on my bloodox. Fortunately it was a mild case but this device helped keep my piece of mind. Works well. You just have to be sure to follow directions and it can be a little tricky to get it in the right spot on your finger. I have large fingers and that may have contributed. All in all very happy at this price point.

It appears accurate. The only problem I had was that the reading was upside down. I switched hands and it was still upside down. Now it seems to work fine as long as the pad of my finger is up.

Working good

Be careful. My new unit didn't work right out of the box. Used new Duracell batteries. Put in a set of batteries, still dead. Tried the batteries in a radio, batteries good. This oximeter is absolutely junk. If you really need an oximeter, consider a different brand or seller.

We bought this oximeter to keep track of our oxygen levels. I have asthma and my husband has had two heart attacks. This tool is very helpful during this Covid 19 epidemic. Pulse in accurate with our blood pressure monitor and Fitbit watch. This is the only tool we can measure our oxygen levels with. Very easy to use and large numbers are easy to read in any direction you have the unit.

When I have doctor appointments they are by phone. I give them my weight, blood pressure reading, blood sugar today and average and now my oxygen reading and pulse. This gives a more complete medical report for a phone in visit. I like this unit, it's super easy to use and helps my doctor track my numbers. I ordered it because I read that oxygen levels were an important diagnostic for lung function for SARS and other viral and bacterial infections.
