The collars are durable and smell good. Makes your dog/cat smell lightly perfumed with lemongrass. Inside of some of the tins smelled pungent of ammonia? Was weird. But the collars were fine. No allergies, which I have to look out for specifically in my dog Dante. He doesn't take well to the synthetic chemical alternatives. The collars fit well, careful adjusting them for fit as I almost choked out one of my cats, I was surprised she was so patient as I readjusted the collar on her. I cut off the excess ends and tossed them around in the corners of my house for extra bug smackdown. It works. No fleas to be found on my animals. Dante would certainly let me know since he's sensitive to even just a few fleas munching on him and will chew himself to bits. Before, I had tried a bunch of homemade sprays and topicals. But those applications never really last long when you're dealing with an infestation. I had ran out of my diatomaceous earth and the order was taking its time to arrive, so that's when I bought these. I've got the DE all over my house for extra bug protection but these collars saved our skins. Hope Shengkou never stop selling these and they only continue to get bigger and improve upon their product, as the only other natural collar on here is twice the price.

I've been skeptical of pest control products that use only so called natural, non-toxic ingredients, even though I want them to work. I've tried many "natural" products, but none of them really worked except for flea shampoos, but any shampoo works if you leave it on your dog for awhile. After shampooing, however, the fleas will come back, so shampooing isn't really the best way to keep fleas and ticks off your dog, but that's what I did for a long time as I didn't want to use toxic pesticides, especially for Violet who will have violent seizures after receiving a pesticide, whether orally or topically. My other dog, Suzie, doesn't have seizures, but I'd rather not subject any animal, including myself, to toxic substances. I would have given five stars, but I'm not sure right now if my dogs are completely flea free, but I've seen no ticks on them since wearing this collar. There is a slight herbal odor, but my dogs don't seem to be bothered by it at all. I will definitely buy the collars again, even though I'm in France and have to pay for international shipping and VAT as this collar is not available on Amazon France.

My pit has been wearing this flea collar for three weeks and I have not seen any fleas on him and he still smells good from wearing it! I see no need for me to go back to a chemical collar! This collar is not giving him any skin issues around his neck. So far I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot since the container comes with two collars in it. I realize it is the Fall season and there may not be as many fleas in the area, but I have another collar that I will use this summer for the real test. When I walk him, we walk through many paths, through the woods, several times a week. So far so good!

I used to use a different flea and tick collar for my dog, and i couldnt find it anywhere, then i came across this one. What a major mistake I made by buying this garbage!!! My dog has never been bit by a tick in 10 1/2 years I've had her!!! Since I've used this collar, she has gotten bit by 2 ticks! I do not live in an area where ticks are everywhere by any means, but they always seem to find her. So, #1 this collar is a bunch of crap, it does not work. Some it may, and some people might also just to be lucky that their dog doesn't overly attract ticks or something, but some like my dog, it brought them to her. #2 about this junk of a collar, the design on a lot of these now are ridiculous to get on and off. It's unreal, it does not just glide in and out to close, the rubber material with the locking grips don't exactly go in like 1, 2, 3 and poof it's done. i couldn't even pull it all the way through, so i'd just lock it the best i could and once it fell off and then i put it back on. A nightmare. I only wanted a tick collar because i stopped using frontline and all that stuff when my dog was diagnosed with cancer over 2 years ago, i try to look for better alternatives. she is more holistic with everything i give her (she is now cancer free :-)) so, keeping her immune system good is very important... having to pull ticks off my dog from a collar that should work, and then not locking properly was huge stress. i would not recommend this product, the company that makes it i wouldnt buy anything from them, and i'm so annoyed, i wouldn't even buy now anything from the seller.

This is my second time buying these collars for my two smaller dogs. They worked to repel fleas and ticks so well last spring/summer season that I purchased again this year, only this time I bought the ones for large dogs and cut the excess off because the small dog collars were not in stock at the time. These are inside dogs but do spend time out in the backyard when their humans are out and I have not found a flea or tick on them the entire warm/hot season since using these collars. They work for many months and we live in the south where the warmer seasons start early and last longer. I like that they use natural essential oils instead of harsh chemicals as my Yorkie gets sick when the harsher chemical drops are used. The one problem I have encountered is trying to take the collar off for grooming as it is a little difficult to remove, at least in my experience, but the collars work so well, I can deal with that minor inconvenience. The Yorkie seems a little put off the first couple of hours after putting a new one on, probably because of the scent of the oils (not extremely strong nor unpleasant, she just doesn't like the new scent, I believe). It would probably help to leave it sit out a few hours before putting on the dog. The Beagle doesn't seem bothered at all, and in fact, the Yorkie gets over it pretty quickly as well. Overall, I highly recommend these collars if you are looking for a more natural flea/tick repellant.

This is absolutely the best collar we have ever purchased for our large sized dog. We live in Florida where the tick and flea population surge during spring and summer. Our dog was miserable and itchy and I even found a couple of ticks on me after she sat next to me!! This collar fits her without being uncomfortable, it has a light lemon smell that reminds me of our magnolia trees, it fits right under her normal collar so it is not readily seen, but best of all...wait for it....it WORKS!!!! She does not itch and we have not had another tick since putting it on. And such a great buy since it comes in a set of two. I heartily recommend this collar and will be buying more so I never run out again!😁

The collar seems to be helping repel ticks in our yard. When we went to a more wooded, farm area, it didn’t seem to work as well. Ticks are really bad this year because of all the rain we’ve been getting in this area. I think this collar works better if you live in a city or town. No irritation to dogs skin. Able to adjust for neck size. We wanted less harsh Ingredients so this collar was our choice.
