This is our first RC boat and we’re really impressed so far. It’s fast and easy to use for both adults and kids. Some highlights: -Fast – Typically RC makers exaggerate their speed claims on Amazon and on the box. They claim 20mph for this boat and I would say that’s correct. It really moves. -Great handling and responsiveness – The boat reacts very quickly to throttle and steering inputs and it turns on a dime. It can turn so sharp that you’d think it would flip over at high speeds but it hasn’t so far because the rudder and rear fins are keeping it in the water. The manual lays out a flip over recovery maneuver which is nice to know. -East to operate – My 8 and 6 year old boys figured out how to use the remote very quickly. -Battery alert – We are into RC cars and if an RC battery dies suddenly you can just walk up to it and grab it, but with a boat I was worried about running out of power while the boat was far away from us in the water. Thankfully there’s a very visible blue blinking battery alert light that tells you when to return to shore before the battery dies. -Water-cooled engine – This is pretty cool. RC motors hate heat and a boat motor in particular has to work pretty hard pushing the propeller against water so I was worried about overheating, but this boat has water-cooling which sounds like something you’d only find in a much more expensive boat. A small tube sucks in water under the boat, and then that tube runs inside the boat and coils around the motor several times, then exits out the side of the boat, taking heat out with it. We ran it pretty hard and the motor wasn’t even warm. -Safety feature – There is a sensor on the bottom of the boat that can tell if the boat is in water. It will only run the boat if it’s in water, which prevents my kids from using the propeller in mid-air as a buzz-saw. Really good idea. -Two batteries – We get about 8-10 minutes per battery. -Water tight – The motor, ESC, and servo were bone dry after using because the lid fits very snuggly and securely with 4 latches to clamp it down, and there’s another lid over that. Overall, we really like this boat and are super impressed with the performance and quality, especially at this price range. I know from past experience that DEERC has great customer service so that’s a big plus, too.

What an amazing RC BOAT!! TO be honest, we were a little apprehensive about getting an RC boat, but this was such a dream and so much fun. The package was so inviting - looked great after opening it up. We received it quickly in the mail. We love to see the box looking like the item, with the great pictures and packing it definitely represents the item. The RC Boat itself is solid, SHARP LOOKING in RED, and looks right out of the box. Setting up was super quick and simple. No difficulties - it was easy to use right out of the box - we had it working in minutes! The controls were super simple to use for a first-time RC Boat user. The RC vehicle turns easily, speeds across the water, AND goes in reverse in case you need to move (which we had to do as first-time users). I had my daughter and her friends try it out too. They had a great time racing across the water - and it even did well with the slight waves from the wind. We were all able to easily navigate the lake. Very easy to learn to operate this as the controls were so simple we were driving the boat in no time! The battery held up for both of our lake adventures we were able to have A LOT OF FUN! It comes with a SECOND battery so you can keep the fun going and going. I would HIGHLY recommend the RC boat - great quality for the price, carefree, easy setup, a lot of fun, and so much better than other items I have purchased. Would definitely get another one from them!

This RC boat was a lot of fun to try out. Setup was fairly simple with no assembly required other than inserting the battery, and it was nice to not have to deal with any screws on the boat to insert the battery. Although I still had to use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment on the remote control (and promptly lost the screw). There's no power switch on the boat, it senses it enters the water and powers on and is already paired with the remote. Forward acceleration is amazingly quick, rear power is so great it almost inundates the boat with water, but had no problem with water. The rudder turns with ease, and the controls are variable (unlike the RC cars which just have a "turn left" or "turn right" switch.) The posted video shows how sharp the boat can turn, we filmed this in our 12 foot diameter pool. The trim adjustments can be used to slow down the throttle range, though it compensates by idling the motor at different speeds, so it will not sit still when idle if trimmed. The one photo closeup of the remote shows an LCD display that shows the status of the controls, including a percent display of power. Unfortunately, steering control and throttle control both share the same percent indicator so it can be a bit confusing, but the remote seemed solid and smooth to use. All in all this is a great starter RC boat for young enthusiasts!

Very good product! Super fast, like impressively fast on the water!! Best R/C I've ever owned or have seen. Quick battery life is the only setback, but it is to be expected with it putting out so much speed. Comes with 2 battery packs. One pack lasts about 10 to 20 mins depending on if you are running it wide open or not. Charge time on a dead battery is pretty quick tho, 30 mins at most. The shell of the boat is very water tight and has a function to flip the boat over if it cap sizes. Remote has a digital display that shows connection to boat, so far I've had the boat roughly a football field away on a lake and had over half signal! Remote also has a notification when battery life gets low to make sure you bring it in before it dies. Amazing product!!!

I purchased this rc boat in February. I didn't have a chance to use it on my pond until the weather cooperated. The first time I was able to use it, one of the clips that holds down the top to seal it snapped off. Water entered the battery compartment and it's now useless. Very disappointed with the quality of the design.

The materials and quality of construction are very good. Plastic is the right mix of rigid and pliable to be durable. Radios synced automatically. Action in the water is very realistic. It carves nice turns, especially under power, and handles small waves just like a real boat. Rudder required minor setup adjustment. No water leakage if you snap the hatch fasteners all the way. Well documented instructions. I tried it out on a lake. It even handled well in light chop. It was stable when airborne. On the few times we flipped it, the boat was easy to right. With two batteries we had a good 15+ min. in the water. Love the low battery alarm. Range was ALLOT further than I expected. AWESOME boat and tons of fun! UPDATE: The H120 is so much fun that I bought the H121 to double or fun. These RC boats are a blast! Get yourself one are two, you won't be sorry!

This isn’t really a kids toy. In a 24’ long pool, if you wot for at most a second or you were destined to smack the opposite wall., so you need a soft touch on the throttle, a skill absent in my 4 yo grandson. It does estimate 8 yrs. old operator in all fairness to the marketers. They could modulate the speed by 1/2 and have a more enjoyable and durable toy, plus more battery life. The battery packs supplied don’t fasten securely in the hull so those bounce around until they get wedged in rudder operation. There’s a battery pack holder in the hull, but it’s for a different battery pack than what’s supplied.

This rc boat really surprised me I bought it for a birthday present for my godson and I was playing with it more then he was. Very good product. I was shocked on how quick the boat actually goes

I expected the battery to last at least 30 minutes. I am new to rc and I’m not sure if 16 mins of playtime is normal. Instructions are poorly written. DO NOT try to lubricate the axils and propeller without inspecting how everything is connected. The instructions to do so are very poor with bad grammar. I snapped the first propeller trying, and screwed it on backwards and the boat wouldn’t work. It’s working now, but it’s a pain to lubricate. I thought you were suppose to lubricate this before using it for the first time, due to poor grammar in the manual. Be careful lubricating it. Cabin fills up with droplets of water easily, which makes me paranoid water will touch the wires that are exposed to the positive/ negative side of the motor and burn it. Takes over 2 hours to charge and I still couldn’t get full bars after charging for 3 hours. Terrible instructions, but excellent design and it’s fun for about 8 minutes until the battery dies.
