I'm pregnant in the third trimester. My hemoglobin at my last prenatal appointment had dropped to 8.3. I've been taking these supplements for about 5 weeks with additional vitamin c. My hemoglobin level has increased to 10.5. The vitamins smell awful but they don't cause constipation. I did vomit one time but that could've been because of the additional vitamin c. I have taken other iron supplements in the past with little to no results. Hemaplex works!

Excellent product to raise iron and ferritin levels

My ferritin was 35 and i had so many symptoms of iron deficiency (e.g. shedding WAY too much hair & very dark under eyes, etc). I’ve been taking these for 3 months alongside 500-1000mg vitamin C & my ferritin is up to 65! My hair is shedding much less, I don’t feel as tired (I also have an MTHFR variant so this could also be because of the methylfolate in this, not sure), and my under eyes aren’t as dark. I was taking it in the morning at least 30 minutes before any coffee, but it made me feel nauseous (I experienced this with all forms of iron I’ve tried, not just this) so I switched to taking it right before bed, at least 1.5 hours away from any food, which has helped minimize the nausea. I do still feel it occasionally when i wake up in the morning but as soon as I eat something it goes away instantly, even if it’s just a few grapes before I make breakfast. Highly recommend trying this if you’re having issues with iron

I am in my third trimester & my hemoglobin was a 10.4 and ferratin 10. Been taking for a month, and hemoglobin went up to 11 and ferratin 22. Highly recommend if you need to raise your levels for pregnancy. Makes me sick if I take on empty stomach so I take it after I eat.

Great product

These capsules were effective at increasing my RBC during pregnancy and were recommended by my midwife. They did have some minimal side effects by changing the color of my urine and other waste. Also gave me some minor heartburn. But they were easy to take every day otherwise.

I take this once daily with food. I chose this brand because I tend to get nausea or stomach discomfort with typical iron supplements. Pros: • No stomach upset • Easy to swallow • Helps support steady energy levels Cons: • Has a vitamin smell when opening the bottle (normal for supplements) Overall: A great option for those needing iron support without the usual digestive side effects.
