They work very well. I use these in the garage to absorb rain water that seeps in under the door. Dries easily too.

I have some major leagues in my house I got these until I can get proper Plumbing done did the job holds a lot of water really perfect durable and it protected my floor is great good value for the money it comes with a lot of different sizes so it was just perfect they're lightweight but they hold a lot of water

Just had flooding in the Northern Illinois area and I prepared myself with these PIG absorbers this time. WOW, they work fantastic!! These will always be on hand as my basement leaks and these soak the water right up and prevent the water from going everywhere. They even dried out quickly on their own which left me amazed on how great they work. Excellent product and less hassle for clean up after a flood.

The pig absorbing kit absorbs well you can ring them out and reuse them. So it’s very good. Cost too much though.

My basement provided water-based heating which is great but the overflow from the system has flooded our basement multiple times as it only has a fake drain that goes down about six inches. The water from the house drains above head level in the basement so there is no easy way to deal with boiler overflow situations. The first solution was to add battery-powered water sensors. This notified us of the next overflow but a bit late to handle the flooding. To add something like a basement pump used in the midwest basements would be expensive and take quite a bit of work and materials. The Pig approach is wonderful as it provides a solution to trap most of the overflow water and we still use the water sensor. In the past, my concern was if the boiler overflow problem happened while we were away for whatever reasons, we would still come home to a flooded basement. The pig solution is consistent with the absorptions numbers reported as I of course had to test the product. The sheets that come with the cylindrical pigs also do the job. I tested a stack six high and all water in my test tub was absorbed even though only the two lower layers were in direct contact with the water level. For me, this is an easy and attractive solution to a problem that has bothered me for years. Thanks for this product innovation.

Great purchase! Our garage has no drainage and we live in Wisconsin. Perfect to collect all the melting snow and salt in our garage from flooding everything. Hold a lot of water, for sure.

I tend to have water problems follow me, so I bought this kit "just in case". This summer I had a patio roof installed, where they cut back the gutters and over hang of the roof on the house. Not expecting any rain, the gap was not covered over night. The nexxt morning, when an "unexpected" storm came through, it was like a water fall inside my living room. I quickly grabbed my Pig Spill kit to stop the water from going into the room any further and to soak up the water. Once I had the room dry, I hung the pads and tubes to dry. It takes a long time to dry, but everything has been folded and stored in the original plastic cube for the new water mishap. (I don't think you can reuse in the case of an oil or chemical spill)

Excellent water-absorbing items that are being used in the garage. Stops water from running back to the wall and other areas as well. Came well packaged, and I have been very happy with this purchase.
