Very useful as a phone stand

The first thing that I like about this product is the box it comes in. It's a pretty solid cardboard box - nothing special, but I expected less since this is a generic product. At first, I thought that I was missing a lens. I later found out from other buyers that the macro lens comes attached to the fisheye lens. It instructions could have been a lot better.The setup is very basic. The case fits well onto my S4, and it is necessary for in order to attach the lenses. I am usually pretty careful with my phone so I have decided to use this case instead of my old, more protective one (always having to change cases is too much of a hassle for me).The stand is pretty cool. The clamp is spring loaded so it will work with pretty much any phone in any case. The top part is rubberized the prevent slipping, but unfortunately, the bottom is plastic. Sometimes, my phone would pop out when I tried to maneuver the device. However, there is a simple fix. I simply took a thick rubber band and wrapped it around the plastic bottom. The extra grip allows my phone to rest securely; in fact, it can even stay upside down.As for the lenses, the only thing that I can say is that they work. Because the macro lens isn't a true macro lens (like you would buy with a camera), and actually works more like a magnifying glass, you have to have your phone really close to the object that you are taking a picture of, which can be annoying. The telescopic lens is very nice actually. There is manual focus, and the pictures are quite sharp. The fisheye and wide-angle lens are pretty basic.All in all, I was pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to other photography enthusiasts who own a S4 but does not wish to upgrade to an actual DSLR camera.

This is a very nice boxed set of four lenses, tripod, adapter, cover, velvet pouch and cleaning cloths. The 'cover' slips onto the phone over the existing battery door so the back door doesn't have to be removed from the phone in order to use the lenses. I haven't tried all the lenses yet, but the 'telescope' works wonderfully for ultra-close-ups. The best thing is that you have four different lenses to choose from and they all screw into a reinforced eye on the cover so there's no need for a clip that could damage your phone or fall off. Even with the 'telescope' on, it feels secure. Everything is easy to use and self-explanatory, and it turns the otherwise slightly limited camera in your Galaxy into a very versatile one.Easily the best thing about this purchase was dealing with this seller. After owning this S4 kit for about month, I upgraded to an S5. Knowing that all I needed was the cover that would fit the S5 and that all the other components would be interchangeable, I wrote asking if they had an extra cover for an S5 they could sell me. The reply was quick and very professional, stating that the kits are prepackaged there were no extra covers they could send but they would send me a kit for the S5 without requesting my return of the S4 kits. Now I know there is a good markup on these kinds of phone accessories coming out of China, but that kind of customer service just rarely happens anymore, no matter how much profit they might be making on each kit they sell. I bought one of the $10.00 'telescopes' on eBay for my MotoX some months back and it was a piece of junk compared to the quality of the lenses in this kit.Bottom line - VERY nice kit that includes everything you need to make your Galaxy S phone's camera much more versatile, and you get to deal with a stellar seller. Win/Win!

I noticed when I received the lens kit that the original design was for the iPhone. I have a Galaxy S4. Because it seems the original design was for a different phone, there are a few compatibility issues.The first thing I noticed was it seems the case doesn't quite fit around the opening for the camera. This being so sets telescopic lens just ever so slightly to the side and creates a dark shadow in all the distance pictures I take. However, it works fine with the other smaller lenses.The second thing I noticed was the poor placement of the flash. I don't use it hardly ever but if I did need to, most of the lenses will block it. Not really an issue on the manufacturer's part but a thought to consider all the same.The final comment I have is to the quality of the telescopic lens. In the few pictures I have taken with it, there is the dark shadow I previously mentioned and what I call a poor diffraction of light through the glass. I'm not a professional photographer, but I know when I see something that isn't supposed to be there. I've noticed on them images that there seems to be a blue glow around the left side of the subject and a red glow around the right side of the subject. I realize the separation of the wavelengths is most likely due to the internal construction of the lens. The lenses were probably jostled around during fast shipping (arrived 2 days before it was scheduled to!) and may have loosened the internal magnifiers on the telescopic lens. I don't think I will be using it due to these defects and will probably purchase a better telescopic lens.Overall, I find this set to be a good value for the price, but I also realize if I want something nice I should be ready to shell it out.

Very good product for the price. Camera lenses are great and came within a respectable delivery time! Very impressed will recommend the product and the supplier to friends and family definitely.

I just got this kit and haven't had a chance to really test the lenses out, but from a bit of playing around with them I am quite impressed. They are nice and solid, and the tripod and phone cover are quite sturdy. I like the quality of the phone cover too - it's got a good non-slip surface so I don't have to worry. The pictures I was able to take were in fairly low light, so weren't the best. I did find that the lenses got in the way of the flash a bit, so it didn't work as well as normal, although quite honestly I'm not a big fan of the flash on the phone at the best of times. But considering the low light, I was quite impressed with the performance of the lenses, so I know I am going to be very pleased with them under better lighting conditions. I would not replace my main camera with the phone and these lenses, but they are great for playing around with and for giving the camera phone more versatility. All in all this set is a nice product that I would recommend to others.

This collection of additional hardware for my Samsung S4 is a lovely collection of toys, it wont replace my DSLR, but then who was expecting that for the price???? The lenses do what they say, and for the price I really can't complain. Yes you do have to change the back of your phone to use them, and the quality isn't anywhere near that of a DSLR lens, but for having a bit of fun with your camera phone I can't praise them highly enough....This is a good value kit for those who like to play!!!
