As described, good price, still a great believer is physical copies of games

I’ve played 3 instalments in the Ys series on PS4 - lacrimosa, origins, and now this. Memories is a very enjoyable game with that familiar Ys charm in abundance, not as great as Lacrimosa of Dana but a very worthy entry and well worth playing. A couple bugs, hopefully they’ll be patched, stops me from giving it 5 stars - ai pathing can be atrocious at times, get ready for an ally to run off to a wall and simulate an overdose of mdma accompanied by far too many beats per minute, and it crashes now and again (seems to have stopped after leaving the opening town, maybe it’s a glitch there). Those couple faults can’t stop it being great fun though, it’s a good game and well worth plumping down your cash if you’re a Ys fan. If you’ve not played a Ys game before I’d have to say try Lacrimosa of Dana first for a stronger story and much more charm, if you’ve already played that and liked then you could do much worse than Memories.

OK but a bit short and can't move the camera around. Fine as a filler in game between a couple of big epics.

This is a remake of two Ys 4 games. Great game if you like JRPGS & Ys.

No es el mejor de la saga pero sí un buen representante de esta. Sentó las bases del estilo moderno de la franquicia. Para una primera toma de contacto está muy bien.

Gioco solo in inglese (sia cover che testi), ma è divertente come gli altri capitoli YS che ho giocato. Un buon acquisto a buon prezzo.

Pour rappel, il s'agit d'un remaster de la version considéré comme canon du 4e opus. Portage d'un jeu psvita, ne vous attendez pas à des graphismes aux standards ps4. Cela étant dit, le gameplay a été complètement revu depuis les précédents jeux en 3D isométriques et c'est (à ma connaissance) le premier jeu où Adol se balade en équipe. Chaque personnage qui l'accompagne est très plaisant à jouer ! Les musiques rock sont toujours aussi bien intégrées à cet univers heroic fantasy. Pour la première fois, on en apprend plus sur le passé d'Adol =) Concernant la compréhension de cet univers, ceux qui n'ont jamais jouer à Ys peuvent sans problème commencer avec celui-ci, en gardant juste à l'esprit que son meilleur ami (présent dans quasiment tous les opus) ressemble à Duren, mais ce n'est pas lui.
