These are beautifully bright red and fresh. I'm very happy with these barberries! Tip- for anyone not used to this type of foodstuff, you should put them into the freezer (and store them there for longer term storage) for at least 4 or 5 days to kill any potential eggs that may have been laid in the fruit. It's the same thing you do for freshly milled grains. It's how you avoid finding weevils and moths inside a sealed flour container.

It is difficult to find these in local stores. The berries are tasty and promote good health per Dr. Michael Greger.

I'm not happy with these. The bag I received contained many stems, a few tiny pebbles, and other debris. I learned quickly to look over every berry before eating them and wash them thoroughly. I see many people posting that they are not fresh. They tasted okay, but the color was much darker than the pictures lead you to believe. Search for other options.

Fresh product, fairly large package. The taste is a bit sour but after a few servings with yogurt I’ve come to enjoy it — a very healthy berry.
