This is a great rope. We used it for lowering limbs well over 500 lbs and as a pull line to drop the tree exactly where we wanted. It’s a solid, reliable choice for any serious tree work

I have pulled over a few large trees with this rope and couldn't be happier honestly. Note: This is a very heavy rope and it's coiled very tightly for shipping, so expect to have a break in period. Don't worry. It will take some break in, then this is one beast of a rope. I stretched the whole rope out across my property to work out the coils. It's worth the work. I have it permanently set up in a 5 to 1 mechanical advantage system (build your own and save a bundle) and it's flawless. Runs very smoothly with little stretch. I put it in a rope brake in the system and it grabs perfectly. I would absolutely recommend this rope. It's a beast.

My brother just bought a houseboat and he bought this rope to tie his houseboat up in a slip. He loves it.

I wanted to use it for uprigging. I cut it to 60 ft and just working the load out it put a bit of strain on my neck. Good rope, but I don't think rigging is the best application.

I used this for cleanup of downed and leaning trees following Hurricane Sally. So far, I've taken down maybe 6 trees and many dozen large limbs with it and it holds up very well. I watched a crew of disaster-chasing tree-clearing gypsies pull a much more expensive 5/8in rope apart during the cleanup of a neighbors' yard. This rope, isn't pulling apart and if it does - you were probably using it wrong!

Great for rigging...seems very strong.

This rope can not be spliced to put eyes in ends making it worthless to me. Communication was good and problem was satisfactorily resolved.

This rope has just enough stretch so you can put tension on the rope for pulling the tree down
