This Cast Iron Cleaner will shine up a Kohler sink very, very close to new, but not easily accomplished by hand. IMHO this cleaner could easily be called an abrasive finishing polish. I find it works best when paired with the Milwaukee M12 Spot Polisher, and a 2"or 3" felt pad. Milwaukee M12 Spot Polisher: ASIN: = B00NO8NT4O 2" Felt Quick Change Pad: ASIN = B07KBCM435 3" Felt Quick Change Pad: ASIN = B07KBC2S8Q I use this cleaner straight on a dry sink without pre-moistening the felt pad or wetting the surface of the sink. It takes me around 4 ounces total in multiple smaller applications to make my black 33" Kohler sink gleam and sparkle. It may take more, or it make take less depending on the sink's condition. Repeated applications will probably be required to reach the desired result. Be aware, this Spot Polisher & Felt Pad will sling the cleaner all over the sides when polishing the bottom of the sink. Thus, it will also sling the cleaner towards the ceiling when polishing the sides of the sink. I just put a piece of cardboard over the area when polishing vertically. When polishing the deck where the faucet is mounted. I suggest using a splatter guard to prevent slinging the cleaner all over the counter. I use ASIN = B0B1QDB4RH, because it is stainless steel and easily cleans up. Plus it has rubber edges to prevent scratches. I also use safety glasses. I have very hard water (17 grains), and water spots easily make my black sink look awful. I tried everything I could find to bring my black sink back to life. Using the Kohler K-23725-NA Cast Iron Cleaner with the recommended tools is the absolute best method I've found. I suppose this cleaning technique may seem like a lot of work, but I guess it all depends on the desired outcome. I wasted FAR more money and time trying countless other cleaners, only to be disappointed by the results. IMHO this cleaning method is the absolute easiest way to clean and polish a dull cast iron sink. I use the K-23725-NA Cast Iron Cleaner once per week, and I use this cleaning technique once per month if needed. *Unfortunately I do not think this cleaning technique will remove deep scratches, remove rust stains, remove deep stains that have soaked into the finish, or successfully polish a pitted or porous surface. ** I also use this cleaning & polishing technique on my stainless steel sink, but I use BarKeeper's Friend for Cookware with water instead of the Kohler cleaner. Purchased this to return a large enameled cast iron Lodge stock pot to its former glory. I make home-cooked dog food weekly, and regularly boiling sweet potatoes in my Lodge created unsightly, stubborn mottled stains inside. Took quite a bit of elbow grease, but with gentle pressure and circular motions, I was amazed at how quickly it lifted the stains. Unfortunately I didn't think to take before/after of that. Also pleasantly surprised to discover the product doesn't have an offensive odor. It's actually kind of a nice scent. Note that while this product is marketed as "non-abrasive," it actually does seem to buff out / abrade, but using an extremely fine abrasion similar to what you'd do in the final stages of painting a car. It seems to remove microscopic layers of "coatings" like paint or enamel, which must be how it's able to remove imperfections and still leave a very smooth, stain-resistant surface. I was so impressed with this product and started experimenting on other surfaces. This cleaner is capable of renewing FAR more than just enameled cast iron. So far, I've used it to achieve amazing results on: • An ugly dark (previously thought to be "permanent") stain on an old Formica countertop • Stains in an enameled metal pot (aluminum I think) • A weird rust stain from an old shelf on wallpapered + painted wall (this did leave some slightly darker marks where the rust was, but still looks much improved) • A hideously stained / scratched plastic center console in my car (see photos) • Surface rust on the hood of the same car, from to an aftermarket gadget that had a poor quality magnet (see photos) In the "before" photo of the console in my car, you can see a little strip on the right edge where I had already started buffing with the Kohler cleanser. The image on the right is what it looks like fully done. Those stains had bothered me for YEARS and no amount of scrubbing with soap helped one bit. It looks SO much better now! I now consider this cast iron cleaner a MUST-HAVE in my cleaning supply arsenal. I'm always finding new surfaces I can use it on. Some things I thought I might have to replace; now I don't. This stuff works on all kinds of hard and/or painted surfaces. If I had one complaint, it's that I wish they sold this in a larger bottle.

If I breathe on my newish Kohler white porcelain sink, it makes a mark. I can't put a mug or a mixing bowl in the sink, without leaving a dark scratch. Pots and pans have to be cleaned on a rack because they really create a mess. I was so distraught because it was new and I didn't want to use any harsh cleanser so I found this product. It works but it takes some elbow grease. I often apply some to the marks at night so it can sit overnight to make cleaning them a bit easier. I do have a slightly yellow spot that this won't touch, though, and I'm debating how to get rid of it without using something abrasive. Tea or fresh berries can yellow the sink and leave a stain the requires multi applications. I gave it 4 stars because it works most of the time but it is not an inexpensive way to keep the sink clean. I can't detect a significant odor. It's my only choice if I don't want to use something that will damage the finish of the sink.

I bought this to restore the shine to my cast iron sink, and it exceeded my expectations! Part of my white sink had become completely dull, and after using this cleaner, the shine came back and it looks almost brand new again. It was easy to use and made a huge difference. I highly recommend it if you’re trying to bring an older sink back to life.

Use it to clean my kitchen sink. Works great in removing stains and makes the sink shine. It doesn’t scratch the surface. So safe to use when needed.

I buy this Kohler Cast Iron Cleaner on repeat to clean my Kohler farmhouse apron-front sink. The surface of cast iron is not as sturdy as you would imagine even though it is a kitchen sink and you would expect it to withstand pots and pans and such to be tossed about on a daily basis. Unfortunately, it scratches easily and makes all sorts of marks even though I have protective "grills". Anyway, I buy this cleaner to try to keep my sink looking good. The three stars is because it is not a "miracle" cleaner that one can just apply and let sit for a spell to do its magic. Rather, you have to use a lot of elbow grease and a soft sponge, and even reapply a time or two before the scratches fade away. The only reason I buy it on repeat is because most other cleaners are deemed too harsh (abrasive) for the cast iron surface. It makes no sense for a kitchen sink to be this "delicate", but it is. In between I clean it with Dawn Powerwash and it does a good job but won't remove scratches. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't buy cast iron for a kitchen sink, but I didn't know any better. But it is gorgeous and is the "wow" factor in my kitchen so I try to keep it looking good.

We have a Kohler cast iron sink with an enamel finish over it and it had some marks that wouldn't come clean with anything else. This works surprisingly well good product

Absolutely amazing product for my white cast iron kitchen sink! I tried every conceivable product in the last 6 years that did not do a great job. I’m so glad I stumbled across this product. Beyond my expectations! My sink looks new again.

Just an expensive bath cleaner . Orange scratches stayed the same after 3 applications. Bleach worked better
