The Everything Kids' Learning French Book: Fun exercises to help you learn francais (Everything® Kids Series)

This book was fun for my little sister. We bought it for a trip to France and she loved it. She was able to learn some words before we left. She also loved doing it on the plane.

This book is an excellent way to review your French skills. I studied French last semester but forgot a fair amount as I stopped practicing. This book brought it back and made it stick. This isn't just a book for kids; It's useful for anyone who wants to either start learning or refresh their skills. And, it's more fun than a dry over-priced textbook.

We haven't worked through the books yet but they seem great. With having bought many of these "EVERYTHING" books on all different subjects for my kids over the last 10 or so years, I was drawn to this one. Also, in reading through reviews on all sorts of French help books, a review for this one said a college teacher for 1st year French requires their students to purchase this book. That was the biggest key for me, of many good reviews, because I had wondered how it would be for my teenagers learning French. Would it be too babyish? Being able to tell them that college teachers of 1St year French require their students to buy this because it is really helpful was a selling point to me buying 3 of these books and "selling them" to my kids to do them. :-) If I remember to come back and update this once my kids work through the books .. I will. Oh, one more thing .. these EVERYTHING books are usually about 3/4" to an inch or so .. these are thin, maybe 1/4 of an inch or less. But the info in them looks good with small paragraphs, some illustrations, little things to practice and fill in and small assignments. Smaller print than for a 5 year old to learn about dogs and cats with big pictures and not full color pages, so not as big of a book.

I'm a nineteen year old college student who had a book from this 'series' all about science as a kid, and it was amazing. I decided to buy one of these to help with my French, as the activities in this book were similar to activities in my beginners French course. Despite being much further ahead than some of the content in the book, it's a great way to refresh myself on the dos and do nots with the basic words and phrases.They've been very helpful and I'll be giving a copy of this book to my former French teacher to share with her students. The answer key in back makes this that much better for the buy. Great buy and quick shipping!

Not nearly as kid friendly as I expected. Not for self learning More of a teacher’s manual. Found that I had to pull up YouTube videos to better explain to the target age group.

I bought this for myself (I'm elderly) and I read a little every night. I had a little French at college and was recently in some French areas of Switzerland, so the pronunciation isn't a problem. I like the simple and fun approach.

I am trying to learn French before I go to South France and this is a great book!! I found out the best way to teach yourself is to learn with children's books and start small. This book is fun because it has puzzles and games to help you along with learning. I am so excited to learn French and I think this fun book helps a lot!!

It gives you an overall recap of beginners French. Taking up French again and this book is perfect for the beginner with no knowledge or an overview for the intermediate.

NICE BOOK FOR BEGINERS

Good but needs your help if kids are 4,5,6

Very suitable for beginner, not only because of its step by step instructions, but also has English pronunciation to help child with the pronunciation. My kid had fun with learning french and he got a A for his first french test in school after using this book for just a month.
