Seems to be well build and balanced
The old (OEM) backing plate just disintegrated after 3 years of using it. Completely crumbled into tiny pieces. Needed a replacement and this one seemed to be well reviewed. Works well, seems to be well built

Perfect replacement for Griot's 6" DA
I have a Griot's 6" polisher I bought back in 2011 or 2012. I used it less than 10 times over the years for cars, but over time, the backing plate started to disintegrate. It finally started breaking apart while I was on a panel. These TCPs are perfect one-for-one replacements and arrived very quickly to help me finish a car in time. I bought a couple of the 6" and 3" ones to keep as backups. Definitely recommended.

Sander pads for a machine.
It is as expected, good quality and construction. I have not used it much yet , but they seem to work well.

I have had this sander for a long time
I needed a new hook and loop disk for my Dewalt sander that is still in good shape except for the disc. I searched a number for sites but no luck. Then I tried Amazon and there it was. Perfect fit and I now have an older sander that acts like new.

Better than the original backing plate
I have an older Griots DA Polisher and the backing plate blew apart after years of use. I decided to pick this up based on the reviews and I’m very pleased with it. The most immediate difference is the balance of the new backing plate vs the original. The original would literally vibrate my hands and arms resulting in major fatigue. This replacement is balanced far better and has eliminated the massive amounts of vibration. I can’t comment on longevity but overall I would definitely buy it again.
