Anyone with callus or fungus issues on this toe, this might be a huge help for you, as it is for me. So, if you wear steeltoe shoes like I do, walk 8-12 hours days in sweltering or freezing weather, walk on crap surfaces like rocks, cement, other hard non-give surfaces? Take care of those feet. I developed Keratin under my big toenail, callus to the right of it and what looks fungi-like in color: yellow outside, and purple in the house. What this cool product seems to do, is cushion the toe and protect it from the side of the inside of the show from rubbing. It allows airflow on both sides to let the nail breath; ya know that moisture, heat, tightness and the wrong socks create the perfect storm for fungus and other feet issues. So, I'm plugging this product. Be sure to keep your nail properly trimmed as it might cut thru the "rubber-like" material. Depending on the sock, yours may come off inside the sock if not worn properly. Don't put any cream on or the cap won't stay on. It's a very soft rubber-like material.

So far so good. Just noticed vendor's pictures: maybe I'm wearing it wrong with the perforation on the sides rather than the top & bottom, but whatever. Other brands feel too bulky and tight. This brand is cushioned yet comfortable. I have a very badly bruised left big toenail. I'm a marathon runner training for another. I run 70+ miles a week. The nail kept peeling back more and more; I was afraid I'd loose the nail. After wearing one of these just 6-8 hours a day for 3 days: the nail appears to be starting to reattach! (I had also GENTLY scraped away ONLY the LOOSE dead bed under the nail first before starting to wear this.) --- Anyhow, pain of that nail is much reduced, appearance is MUCH improved, it is no longer peeling back! Instead, it seems to be reattaching! I don't wear it when I run (maybe I should?) but when I run I get a little ooze coming from under it on my sock. Odor free. Clear. I suspect that's a sign it is truly healing!!! I'll post pictures later if this works as well as it seems it will!!!

These were too small for my toe. So they are not as helpful as I would like. I have a mens size 12 wide. They were a bit too short. Also a bit too tight. They did help with the blister on my toe so I gave them 4 stars not 5.

This toe cap is very soft very comfortable only breathable for very short time. My whole toe started to sweat and I don’t sweat easy anywhere on my body also when I was wearing it, I didn’t put on any shoes so I couldn’t imagine wearing it with socks and shoes on or even shoes themselves I’d really be doing some sweating but I would recommend it if needed bad enough to support any soreness or pain, they probably be worth the sweat I gave it a three for these reasons

I recently had to have my big toenail removed and needed something to protect my toe for a hiking trip 3 weeks later. These did the trick. They did not give me blisters and protected my toe from getting too sore. I don’t wear them at night under my sock, but if I have sandals on I wear them for protection. Any closed toe shoe I wear them with a sock. I did split one after a 5 day backpacking trip. But had an extra one with me. They wash up nicely. My only complaint is they should offer them in a flesh color for wearing with sandals.

Good product

These are not good. I got them to cover my half toenail that was ruined from a fungal infection from the gel nails. It made my foot extremely sweaty and almost created like a breeding ground for the fungus to grow. I have to return these because they are ineffective even with the holes. I thought that you know getting toe covers with holes would help it breath but these were awful. They also had a strange smell to them and are very flimsy. Don't get this if you are not trying to sweat your toes off and stay wet. It does fit over a bandage at least though

These give my toes such relief! I have tried everything, bought everything, meant to separate bunion big toes for years. I gave up on finding something to spread them. Then I gave it one last try. THESE separate my big and second toe like nothing else I have ever tried. And walking with them doesn't hurt either. I can also use them on my painful thumb that I bump on everything. Now with one of these on my thumb, I guess I take fewer chances because I haven't bumped ,my thumb on anything since wearing them. So my toes and my thumbs feel suported and a whole lot less pain. Really good and helps to ease the pane during the workout

These are great, really makes shoes/trainers comfy when walking and stops all friction against the big toe nail. They are quite thick but you cannot feel them once they are in place. I wouldn't be without them now and wish I'd discovered them years ago.

So thin and tearable & terrible. No cushioning comfort whatsoever. Do not purchase.

These are great - I lost my big toe nail and it was very sensitive but this was easy to cover the dressing and was not difficult to get on unlike some of the other ones which are too tight and initially the nail bed is far too sensitive. They are easy to get on and off and look tidy. Recommended

Half of the top surface of my big toenail came off due to fungal nail treatment. I was wary of wearing my golf shoes in case I damaged my toe. These toe protectors did what they said they would and I played in comfort. You need to have a little bit of space in your shoe, especially in length and height at the toe. I had one pair that were more spacious so they did the trick. After 18 holes the toe protector is still in one piece and I will use it again tomorrow.
