I like these better than my Ortlieb rollers.
Love these panniers. Taken them on several trips now, all with rain (steady rain for at least a day) and no issues. Rain covers are easy and fast to slip on and keep them dry. I like the drawstring top with flap better than the roller design, simply because it's more convenient. Extremely easy to stick everything you won't need access in, close the string, then put something like a jacket or rain poncho on top and close the flap over it. Excellent quality, and solid attachment to the rack. These bags also hold a ton of stuff. Too much, I usually fill them, then remove a bunch so I don't pack too heavy. I wish Ibera made a smaller front version, until then I'll have to keep using the small Ortliebs for up front. Update - I've had these Ibera panniers for a number of years now, and love them just as much as when I first bought them. I've built up a new off road/gravel touring bike and transferred them over along with a new front set of Tailfin bags that hold my food. These bags still look new, despite having taken many many trips and thousands of miles travelled with who knows how much rain. They are slowly filling up with patches of all the places they have visited.

These are excellent paniers... probably the very best of any of the choice on Amazon when I bought them.
I love love love these paniers - easy easy easy on and off the rack and they stay secure, my heel does not hit them as I ride, roomy, have ridden 1/2 hour through heavy rain without using the rain covers and they stayed completely dry inside, however I have read that on longer rain exposure water does get inside. The nice rigid back sides keep bulky contents from ever getting anywhere near the spokes. Easy to carry by the handles. The paniers themselves seem to be as light weight as they could possibly be without sacrificing the requisite strength. These are worth every penny. My only "complaint" ... the lids have elastic at the corners near the hinge which provide a nice snug fit. However, this always gets caught as you close the lid and so you have to use two hands to get the elastic parts over the bag part... can't just flap it down in one fell swoop. Also, the little latches either side to secure the lids, kinda annoying the way the fork doesn't just slide right into the slot... you have to give it a lot of attention. Ha... not something I can't live with. Both these annoying features (elastic, latches) probably gain a little extra sturdiness from the annoyingness. Also, keep in mind that there is not a lot of flexibility/room in the zip pockets in the lids... you might slip a paperback or a kindle in there with some work, but they are going to squish down on squishy stuff (eg, a sandwich).

Simple, works well
The interior layout is simple. It has a large, drawstring main compartment. Plastic buckles secure a cover over that compartment. It can fit a rain jacket, a fleece jacket, a Brenthaven Ecco-Prene Plus 13" Sleeve holding a laptop and two phones, ten pairs of socks, and two spare inner tubes. On top of the cover is a thin zipper pocket; it could be useful for something like coins or a key. The pannier itself has no padding, and I would not transport a laptop without adding some; the aforementioned sleeve works well. I'd prefer a pannier with built-in padded areas for a laptop and a tablet, but those cost significantly more. I use this with a Planet Bike Eco Rack. It doesn't fit well, even after adjusting the lower hook. To latch securely, I must place it uncomfortably far forward. Instead, I opted to locate it far back, even though this causes the upper hooks to grip thicker areas of metal where they can't latch securely. Theoretically, the pannier can come off without me depressing the latch-release lever. In practice, this only happens in a narrow range of angles, and I have never had it loosen against my wishes. The pannier itself is sufficiently water-repellent for riding in light rain. Each pannier includes a removeable rain cover, which I have not used. There's a carry handle for toting the pannier when it's off the bike. I wouldn't want to carry it for miles, but it suffices. This was my first pannier, and I wondered whether it would be important to balance weight on either side of the bike. I use one pannier of up to 15lb or so. I never notice imbalance while riding; I do notice when I lean the bike to step over it, but that's fine.

Great bags, I would get them again.
These are great. Have had them about two months now. I used one to commute to school with all my books and whatnot in there and it held up just fine. I used them both on a two-day bikepacking trip on a dirt trail and the despite the outside being completely covered in dust and a little mud, the contents was clean. It drizzled a bit on us, light enough so that I didn't put the rain covers on and nothing inside was wet. The quick releases are great. I was able to adjust them so that they don't slide back and forth at all while riding and they are a breeze to clip on and off, full or empty. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the capacity. These are the largest panniers that Ibera offers and they're just a tad small for me. I use them with this rack: Ibera PakRak Bicycle Touring Carrier Plus+ IB-RA5 (with disk brake mounts) Frame-mounted for heavier top & side loads (bag not included) Pros: Quick release mounts, construction Cons: A bit on the small side

Major design flaw and I hope the manufacture notices
Update: After a 140-mile bike tour over 3 days from Brooklyn to Doylestown PA in the extreme heat on Friday, the huge downpouring rain on Saturday, and the light rain on Sunday, my bag contents were dry. I carried about 12lbs per bag using the Ibera bike rack. My gear + Lightweight camping blanket + Lightweight sleeping pad with foot pump and pillow built-in + bike multitool and torque wrench, brake bleed kit + a waterproof dry box with my Anker battery, wrenches, money, USB wires, batteries for 2nd camera, etc + GoPro9 box with batteries, attachments, stick, and selfie stick + mirrorless camera, lens + toiletries + 2 cans of refried beans and 2 packages of tortilla + a change of Saturday clothes, Sunday clothes, sleeping clothes, extra socks, rain jacket I could have put a few more things but I didn't need to. This had ample room in the bags and they held up very nicely. I would recommend them as of today. I will update over time. Original First off - The bag is really nice. I like the quick-release mounts. The bags can hold multiple items from a small sleeping bag, air mattress, and still have room for additional items. They have small triangle reflective fabric to help with visibility. The major design flaw is once you put the rain covers on the bags to protect the contents, there is NO REFLECTIVE fabric or colorful fabric to say "Hey - I'm out here in the rain or night, please don't hit me."

Impressive panniers
Hubby put these on his Terra Trike Rover (recumbent trike). We were impressed with the quality. The two inserts that come with the bag are NOT for the bottom, they're for the sides. There's a velcro piece on each side of the bag that you pull to open and put the inserts in the pockets, then close the velcro back up. These look nice as they do not lie flat & squishy looking like most panniers do. It took my husband 5 minutes to put these on and they're very secure. There's a lot of room in these things. Basically it's one large area with a zippered pocket on the outside of each bag. The bags themselves have no zippers, but close very nicely with a belt like "click". These also come with rain covers. Personally I wouldn't use these unless caught in one heck of a storm. These do NOT lock, so 4 stars for that one. These would be great for grocery shopping (don't buy out the store). All and all, great panniers at a very reasonable price. Very pleased with this purchase and the super quick shipping.

Great Panniers
I am getting ready to set off on a cross country tour and these were not my first choice. My first option failed the testing phase and I returned them. These are 5 star all the way. The inserts which go along the insides are encased in a velcro closure to give this stability and the ability to stand up on its own. Inner drawstring cinches load tight and the two clasps reinforce the seal. I liked these so much that I chose to get an additional pair for use on my front rack. I had already purchased the Ibera Pak Rack rear rack. I called Ibera to see if they made a front rack that would work with these but they were no help whatsoever. After doing some research, I found the Blackburn front rack that works perfectly! There is 3 different models of Blackburn racks and they will all accept the Ibera clip system. As for the clip system, there is ample adjustments possible to get the lower clip to be accepted by most racks. This holds the pannier on solid and securely without the need for flimsy bungee type cord attachments. The material and zippers seem of sufficient quality to last a long time. They also have an outer pocket for maps, snacks, phone etc. I know that most people feel that Ortlieb's are the best but these are less than half the cost with the additional feature of the outer zipper compartment. These slip on and off my bike easily and the carrying handle makes it easy to bring them in off my bike.

Great bags, love the PakRak clips
I love these pannier bags. The PakRak system unclips easily so I can bring the bags with me when I lock up my bike. I've used them several times a week for about the past year and a half. They have held up well, still no tears or rips. I carry groceries in them, they hold a lot and are strong.

Excellent buy.
Looks amazing ont he back of the bike. Easily detachable which was exactly what I was looking for. Excellent quality. Only minus is it's not waterproof but you do get waterproof covers for them. Price is steep but definitely worth it after trying multiple cheap pannier bags. They're so so spacious as well, I'm surprised.

Grande capienza in dimensioni contenute e buona estetica.

uso rudo/heavy duty
