Genuine Multipure CB6 Replacement Filter

This CB6 costs almost three times as much as the other filters, but the water tastes much better. I have owned my Multipure for many years. The water quality is much better when I use the original replacement than the inexpensive $35 units. It is worth it for a year of better-tasting water.

There are some other generic filters replacement fitting this model, but you can read those reviews about the smell and bad taste. On the other hand this one is odorless, insipid and the water goes clean. In my case I replace it yearly, but my city water is very good quality and after a year of usage the filter is still white (you don't see it dirty). The value that delivers is huge, I have peace of mind. But compared to other replacements and other filtering systems, I think this is expensive. Now, the quality of the water is great, and that is priceless.

These filters are great. It drops right in and that is the easiest part of the replacement process. You really do need to flush before use but fifteen minutes is excessive.

This is THE replacement filter for my Multipure countertop water filtration system; this is the official one, not a knock off and is the only one I’ll use. This is a great water filtration system and only have to replace this filter annually. GREAT to be able to order these directly from the company here on Amazon - love it. Have had my Multipure system for mor than 10years, got it on the recommendation of someone who works professionally in urban water supply issues; it has been great and my water always tastes amazing. This costs way less over time and filters better than anything comparable.

We’ve been using this system for over 20 years and I have no complaints Hawaii tap water is tolerable but filtering makes our water taste so much better. A filter cartridge used to last us one year but since we’ve taken on caretaking my in-laws I notice we’re replacing it every six months. Thank you for your dependable product and quick delivery.

Long story short, none of the "alternatives" comes anywhere near to this original one.I tried many over the years and have always regretted it. If you want guaranteed clean water find this one and spend the extra, it performs way better and lasts twice as long.

This is my first filter replacement for my Aquaversa. I was tempted to go off brand because of the price difference. But when it comes to water filters, the user really can't tell how good a job it is doing. So I say stick with the original manufacturer on this to make sure that you get the best. The company has the most to lose if there is a problem. Multipure has proven to me that they stand behind their products. Skimp on something else.
