As a gamer (old school style) I am so releaved a product like this exhist now that I have a 55inch smart tv. It is a plyg an play system. I was finally able to play donkie kong! the sound quality was great, the video was so clear, and it worked right away!. Yall the design is small, which cuts down on all the cords. It also came with a HDMI cord for the T.V. The value for the money was a sacrafice, but well worth it!

Works as it should! Got my Old PS2 & N64 hooked up through this. Easy to connect. Easy to troubleshoot. Picture quality looks great. Inexpensive as well. I think I ended up buying three in total

The product does as is advertised, but it must be noted that is all it does. Let me begin by saying I purchased this product to connect 3 old consoles to a 2022 4K Roku Smart TV. The consoles were an original Xbox, early model PS2 and a Nintendo Gamecube. For this review I have not tested the Gamecube yet. This converter itself works flawlessly with the Xbox and PS2; no issues with functionality. However, picture quality is in question. I must be clear: this device DOES NOT upscale anything. It simply takes the RCA outputs from a device and runs it through an HDMI connector. Nothing more. The default signal quality the device outputs, is the signal quality that will output on the display of your choice. The picture quality on the PS2 is blurred. The picture quality on the Xbox is less blurred. I found it was better to set the switch on the converter to 720p, rather than 1080p, because that actually improved my image quality on both consoles to a minimum degree. To further test, I found an old 1080p flatscreen (pre-2010 model) in my parents garage and hooked my PS2 up to it through the AV ports and found the image quality to not be too far off from what my 4K TV was displaying. Therefore, I must assume this is not the converters fault, but the fault of the low resolutions these old consoles output. The image quality is probably the best I'm going to get. One thing I should note is that my 4K TV upscales low resolution outputs up to 4K, which may make image quality better or worse. I experimented with my TV's settings and found a middle ground between crap and average quality, but good enough to play my old games without developing a migraine from eye strain. I think the item is a bargain for the price. You could easily hook up multiple devices with this converter. I found other converters on Amazon that did the same thing, some even had connectors for specific game systems, but they either had sketchy reviews or were ridiculously overpriced. And considering what I mentioned about a device's default signal output, I doubt they could really do much better than this one. Whether you're running a device's output through RCA cables and into an HDMI converter, or a device's output straight into an HDMI converter, the result would be the same. It simply depends on what display and device you plan to hook this converter up to. Lower resolutions screens like 1080p or 720p would most likely fair better than what I used. So yes, I do recommend this device. It does the job and nothing more. Just don't expect it to magically make your lower resolution devices crystal clear and super sharp. The result is dependent on the display you choose. Word of advice: when you are done using this converter for the day, be sure to disconnect it from the power source. It continues to run and heat up even after all devices connected to it are off.

Easy to install and works good, feels kind of cheap but will probably out last me.

It came on Time, Bought it for The Ps2 and it looks really good and the sound quality through the Samsung 4ktv sounds amazing. It was really easy to setup!

Just what I was looking for. It connected my RCA jacks from my VCR to my TV. Good price on what appears to be a good product. I would purchase again.

While this did work. It made the picture cloudy and fuzzy. I kept it but have since gotten a newer blu ray player that only needs hdmi. It’s still nice to have kicking around. It is easy to use and is a quick set up. If you don’t mind a fuzzier picture it’s a great price.

Extremely easy to set up and use. The only maintenance you need to remember is to disconnect it from power when not in use, else you could burn out the circuits or something and impact its longevity of usability. Image quality is crisp and clean with absolutely no noticeable delay in signal processing.

regret buying this... does not work at all! cannot return bcos the box was torn and had been thrown away. also made in china.

Somehow the slot to put in the power cable has broken and the usb part has come loose. You can hear it rattling inside the box.
