⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must-have if you cook on a grill I bought this thermometer after getting a new charcoal grill because I wanted to start cooking meat to the proper internal temperature instead of guessing. After using it for about four months, it’s become one of my favorite grilling accessories. I mainly use it to check burgers, but it works just as well for steaks, chicken, and other meats. The readings are fast, accurate, and have helped me avoid both undercooking and overcooking. Pros * Very easy to use right out of the box. * Gives fast, accurate temperature readings. * Easy to clean after each use. * Built-in magnet makes it convenient to store on the side of the grill or refrigerator. * Solid construction that feels durable and well made. * Excellent value for the price. Cons * The display is a little small, so it can be harder to read from a distance. * Because it’s an instant-read thermometer, you have to open the grill and get close to the heat to check the temperature. Performance The thermometer has performed flawlessly during the four months I’ve owned it. The readings are quick, consistent, and give me confidence that my food is cooked safely without drying it out. It has definitely improved my grilling results. Who should buy this? I recommend this to anyone who grills, smokes, bakes, or cooks meat regularly. If you’re still judging doneness by appearance alone, an instant-read thermometer is one of the best kitchen tools you can buy. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. It’s inexpensive, accurate, well built, and has taken the guesswork out of cooking meat to the proper temperature.

I really like this thermometer! It’s super easy to use and gives a temperature reading really fast. This is an excellent digital food thermometer. The instant-read feature is incredibly fast—giving an accurate temperature in about a second—so there’s no waiting around when checking meat, or other foods. The probe feels sturdy and well made, and the readings have been very reliable. One of my favorite features is the large auto-rotating backlit display. It’s easy to read from any angle, and the backlight makes it simple to use when grilling in the evening or in low-light kitchens. The motion sensing on/off is also very convenient since it automatically wakes when you pick it up and sleeps when you set it down, which helps save battery life. Cleanup is quick thanks to the waterproof design, and the magnetic back makes it easy to store right on the fridge or grill. Overall, this thermometer is accurate, easy to use, and very well designed. Highly recommended!

This is a solid kitchen tool that is well designed and functional, including bonus features. It is not made of premium materials, and the readings are not obtained "instantly" (a factor in some cases as one reaches a bit into the maw of a hot oven), though "fast enough" and accurate enough to do the trick. The freeze-reading feature is practical to use and improves accuracy. This ThermoPro is so much better than the mechanical (coil) probe thermometers with a tiny dial, which, oddly, might cost the same or more. The flashlight may be gratuitous, but the stand reduces counter mess. I like it, orange and all, and on the yardstick for "value for money", it gets a full 36 inches.

This is a handy little tool for getting temperatures quickly. It comes with the initial battery supply, is easy to insert or change the battery as needed. The backlit display makes the temperature reading easy to see. It can display temperatures in °F or °C. It reads temperatures so fast that I get a room temperature that matches the setting on the thermostat before I get the probe inserted into the food item that I'm checking for internal temperature. The product fits in the hand comfortably, the button controls react to a light press or tap, and the internal temperatures of food display quickly, in just a couple of seconds. The probe rotates open to a maximum of 180°,and rotates downward to fit securely in the groove made for storing it. The probe is held in place by a tab, so it stays closed when you want it closed. The back of the body of the thermometer has a small table of Recommended Internal Temps for beef, pork, & poultry. It's good for measuring the internal temp of my sourdough, or any other breads to ensure doneness. There are a few different storage options, too. It has a loop on one end so it could be hung on a hook, it folds compactly, it's magnetic to stick to the side of a refrigerator or on other appliances containing metal. There are cushioning pads at each end of the thermometer's ends on the back to help protect surfaces from accidental marring or scratching. I am very satisfied with this purchase, the build & utility of it, and that it's so easy to clean. I would buy it again if needed, and yes, I would recommend it for others. It's a good value for the buy!

I know this might not seem like that great of a review. But I have purchased this thermometer for the second time to replace our first one which lasted over 3 years. That may not sound that great but I will say we use it multiple times a day to temp our babies milk, so we really got the use out of it. I purchased for the second time after it started going out but I've purchased other thermometers that last nowhere near this long. And considering the price about $3-4 a year is pretty darn good. Definitely would recommend. Comes with a battery and a little screwdriver, handy! Temps quickly and accelerately.

Love this! I have it on the side of my fridge and use it every day. It gives a quick accurate read. Having the safe temps right on the back makes this so much easier to use.

This kitchen thermometer from the house of ThermoPro is a very accurate one. Its build quality is very good with the use of good quality plastic and other components. I got this thermometer to measure the temperature of milk while making paneer and ricotta cheese and you will only realise what difference it makes when you actually try and follow the exact recipe/measurements. I also use it while making coffee as just a few degrees here and there can ruin your beautiful cup of coffee. At 999/- this is a must have equipment for all culinary enthusiasts. It will go a long way in improving the quality of your dishes. It comes with a nice little screw drive to open the battery compartment. Can read both in Fahrenheit and Celsius. The display is backlit for better readability and it only takes 2-3 seconds to show the exact reading. It also has a magnet at the back so you can secure it on the gaye of your refrigerator.

I love this thermometer! I love the fact that it's magnetic, I put it on my fridge so it's easy access. I also appreciate the fact that the safe temperatures for different kind of meat are written at the back, very practical. Also easy to clean. I've owned it for more than a year now and it still works perfectly. Highly recommend :)
