OEM 66340 OSRAM D3S Xenon HID Headlight Bulb

Worked perfectly for my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. Hard to install in your own but it's possible. These work very well once you get them in. I suggest getting a handy friend to help you install and follow some of the online videos. Saved me at least &700 to do it on my own as I was quoted $1000 to replace at a shop

One headlight bulb turned orange color then died a few days later after 10 years of use. Replaced with this Osram 66340 in about 30 minutes and saved $$$ dealer would charge. Replacing the bulb is easy: unplug cable and quarter turn counterclockwise to remove then reverse order to install. Accessing the bulb is highly dependent on the bulb location in your vehicle. For me, it's accessed from wheel well and removing three screws are needed (two in tight spot using a low profile ratchet). The color temperature is slightly cooler than the old bulb which is expected. Overall very happy with the bulb and hopefully no need to replace it again for the rest useful life of the car.

Got the bulbs fast ! These are OEM replacements, wasn’t going to take a chance with cheaper bulbs. I only wanted to do this once, as I have injuries that effect my joints in my wrists and with my large hands and sausage fingers it’s not fun getting in the housing for the headlights very tight. I managed using a mirror and flex light to figure out what connector it was twist or retainer clip. Was a retainer clockwise locking so glad I didn’t try just twisting,easy enough to damage. They work great no problem exact fit.

I don't know much about replacement auto parts, so I leave it to the professionals at the parts store. The employee told me to buy it online, it's cheaper. It was cheaper to buy 2 here than just one at the store or dealership. It was easy to replace myself except the bulb get really hot, quickly. I accidently grabbed the bulb, while off and burnt my finger. I will buy again if I keep my car that long.

My advice: If your car uses a Xenon light, replace it yourself. My garage quoted me \22,000 yen to replace it. I found a tutorial on Youtube and bought the light on Amazon for half of that. I saved 50% and then went to a casino and spent \50,000. Don't listen to my casino advice, just buy the Xenon bulb.

This is a very good one. It is way cheaper than in the local market. However, note this is a white one whereas some are yellow and there is nowhere in the box mentioning which color it is

Super easy to retrofit, just download PDF manual from Audi which shows how to change bulb. Next closest quote from mechanic was at least 3 x the price excluding installation!
