Work great and inexpensive enough that i can put them where I use my computer
I move my computer around a lot and I appreciate not having to move the charger with me. Also, in my opinion, a backup power supply is always good to have when traveling, etc.

Works well but is too short
I broke the connector end that plugs into the laptop. Eventually, I will get around to repairing it, but in the meantime, I needed a replacement. This one works great, doing what it's supposed to do. But, the line end of the cord, that which goes from the block to the mains outlet is shorter. No problem, as I simply replaced it with the one from my original adapter which came with the laptop. But the other end, the cord running from the block to the laptop is also shorter. The ad states that this unit has a total length of ten feet. Probably so, but the original with the laptop is a good two feet longer on each end. For most users, this is probably no big deal. But my wife and I end our day with time sitting on our bed, With the shorter cord, the length from the laptop end of the cord to the block is not long enough for the block to rest on the floor beside the bed. Thus the cord is under tension, and is being pulled by the weight of the block. If that lack of length is not an issue for you, this is a reliable adapter at a very good price.
