I ordered this supplement for a mental boost during exam preparation and taking my final exams. I’m a grad student with ADHD and some of my exams can be up to 6 hours long so I really wanted something that would help with my focus, mental endurance, and motivation. Additionally, prescribed stimulants can make me anxious and crash later in the day and I’ve read that l-tyrosine is helpful in alleviating these side effects. I have to say I think this really helped. I did a lot of research and found so many recommendations for l-tyrosine. It helps the body produce dopamine. I’ve used this brand for other supplements before and have had a great experience with it. I followed the directions and took it between meals 2-3x per day. I must admit that did take some other supplements as well, so I will update this review as I isolate this supplement to see if it’s still helping. Definitely recommend giving it a try. But absolutely do your research and be wary of taking anything long-term. Supplements aren’t regulated to the same extent as medications. There’s great information on NIH studies and Reddit pages so I recommend starting there. Everyone’s body/chemistry is different and we react to things differently so try not to have expectations and just see how your body responds. Be especially cautious if you have thyroid issues. I am no doctor but this is just coming from information I’ve read.

This can work wonders at helping your body deal with stress, especially physical as some of the studies with the Military demonstrated, but watch out how much you take. I have had to reduce the dose to about half of this because 750 mg gives me immense headaches. You should probably do a test and take a very low dose at first and work your way up. The headache lasted about 8 hours for me and didn't go away till I slept it off. I personally experimented with taking it on an empty stomach or with food and didn't notice much of a difference, I could feel the effects of it pretty quickly either way. For me it basically makes me feel like everything is less of an immediate threat and my body is a bit better at dealing with things. I do feel a bit more energy, but that seemed to go away after taking it for a few days. I highly recommend trying out a smaller dose to anyone who has problems with stress, or feels that they are under a lot of stress. It is a pretty dramatic difference on me, but the headaches are really bad with the higher dose.

Take it everyday to help keep me alert and at my best during work. Not sleepy or fatigued anymore!

For me this product didn't do much benefit, It makes me sleepy, nappy after that very very very hungry. I like Now Foods a lot, this product is not going well with my body!!

I don't know if it's my mind but I'm seeing immediate results. Back story.. I think i may have adhd but didn't want to spend the money to get tested. Decided to try something else until I can afford the test.. Immediate results.. Motivation and everything is up.. Things are different.. Found out about this from tik tok videos.. Appreciate it
