I mus say that this is the most beautiful cross I have purchased! I have it hanging over my front door. I suggest that any of you interested in purchasing a st Benedict cross, read Bout st Benedict and the meaning of the inscriptions found in the crucifix! Very interesting!

This looks as pictured, but that is the only thing that I would say is as advertised. The smell of industrial chemicals and/or lacquer is overpowering upon opening the box. Item is manufactured in China and has carcinogenic warning labels. Perhaps the manufacturer changed since these other reviews, but what I received is not as advertised and not something I want in my home.

I broke almost immediately after I took it out of the box. I wish it was made out of wood or something like that.
