Beautifully done inside and out.
This book is beautifully printed and had great lessons inside. Unfortunately the drawings were too realistic for my daughter. She was looking for more Anime. But this was a great book and a great price!

My 13 year old grandson loves to draw and this book is so informative. He has learned how to draw the human form so much easier. I'm so glad I got it for him.

Great book that simplifies drawing heads and faces
This is a kid's book that I bought for myself to help me with drawing faces and heads. I'd studied the Loomis method and a bit of the Asaro via YouTube videos, and while they were helpful, I always seemed to have information overload. I was initially a bit embarrassed to buy a book meant for children, but I wanted the info explained in the most basic and interesting way possible. Regarding art, authors seem to explain artistic concepts to kids in a better and much simpler way than they sometimes do to adults. This book gets straight to the point and keeps it short and sweet with great illustrations for suppport and encouragement. It serves as a supplement to my more complicated studies of head and face drawing. Believe it or not, it makes those studies easier to understand and remember. I highly recommend for self taught artist of all ages who are encountering difficulty with portraits or just want to learn.

For older kids
I would not call this a “kid” learning book. It was very advanced to the point my 9 year old didn’t feel she was learning how to draw she had to follow more so the word directions instead of step by step drawing that I thought it would be

Great book for young artistis on the making.
Bought this for my 7-year-old daughter that loves drawing/sketching. She loves it and uses it daily. I can really see her improving her skills and easily follow the instructions in the book even though our mother tongue is not English.
