Ozark Armament A2 Rear Sight- Solid, Dependable, My Go-To AR-15 Sight
The Ozark Armament A2 all metal rear sight is high quality, extremely accurate and as it is all metal, it’s very durable. I have my A2 sight mounted on a Del-ton M4 AR-15. The sight works well in the extreme cold and heat and stays tightly affixed to the top rail with no wobbling. Ozark Armament’s A2 rear sight is priced nicely at $29.00. This sight is worth the investment if you want a solid, durable, accurate, highly usable AR-15 rear sight to compliment your A2 front sight. If you utilize a red dot with these A2 sights, you are able to easily absolute co-witness, increasing target acquisition and accuracy. I have tried numerous A2 sights from various vendors and can say with assurance, Ozark Armament’s sight is as good if not better than any on the market.

Great price for heavy duty iron sights
I bought the rear and front iron sights from Ozark. They came separately. They seem to be great quality. I have not had a chance to see if they hold zero on my Beowulf, but they seem to be well built and very heavy so if their weight is any sign of the actual quality I think these will have no problems. They bit heavier than I thought they would be but that can be a good thing with bigger calibers The good: 1. Very heavy duty 2. Easy to install 3. Good value, very inexpensive 4. Adjustments are easy and seem firm 5. You have 2 iron apertures to choose from, one for close and one for precision The bad: 1. For some they may not like the added weight 2. I have not had a chance to try them so I cant speak to holding zero 3. I could not find a front and rear set on Amazon. Maybe they have it and I didn't see it but would be nice to get them together.

A solid sight for its price point.
The rear sight was delivered by USPS on time and was as described. The finish is anodized with steel screws and a Aluminum body. One plus is that it was mechanically zeroed for the M4 carbine gas system sight radius for standard flip sight setting of 300 meters fine sight/200 meter large aperture quick sight. All markings are clear and legible. All ranged windbag adjustment clicks were audible and felt. The range adjustment wheel/drum is also adjustable through use of a 1.5MM hex wrench (at this price point the item is made in China.) To adjust give the range adjustment wheel several full rotations and stop when you see the hex screw and adjust from the left side, unlike the US version which is adjustable from the top through a witness hole. I use the Santos improved BZO which adjust the drum 4 clicks (each click is 0.5 moaning approx.) to allow a 50 yard zero which is good for 200 meters. Rotating the range drum to "3" then gives you a usable more accurate 300 meter zero. I‘d like to give this a five, but the drum is more difficult to adjust than the US version but is OK for this price point. I'm giving this sight 4 stars in comparison to the US made version but this is a decent rear sight and would be given an extra 1/2 star in comparison to other simlar Chinese rear sights.

Outstanding accuracy out of the box, Reliable, well crafted, amazing price.
Didnt know what to expect with these being such a low price point, but they were amazing. Im not sure if it was a fluke thing but out of the box they were perfectly zeroed with my rifle, savage patrol with stinger free float handguard. First time at the range never adjusted and was hitting 3" groupings everytime. No matter where i chose to send the groupings on target the accuracy stayed the same, shot for over an hour and went through 200 rounds, they nevwr budged. My opinion is yes, buy em. For the price you wont find better. Crafted from aluminum, sturdy. Fully adjustable for wind and elevation. I bought two more sets one for a backup and one for my AR10.

Not terrible, but no one can claim excellence
These sights are not terrible but they are by no means awesome. I have also have a set of Ozark offset BUIS which I don't use. Offset sights seem like a good idea but it really isn't. I typically use a red dot and haven't really had the need for BUIS, but just as the term suggests, back up. I've tried a few flip sights, even Magpul flip sights and I haven't found anything that works very well. Those who believe these are the best sights ever (4-5 star), that's ok. There's nothing wrong with them, especially for a set of BUIS for roughly $50 round trip... if you don't have a huge bank account. For those who rate these as garbage, you're not far off either, but either you've got a lot more money to burn than the rest of us or you're looking for a $300 set in the bargain section. I'm in a smaller camp where these sights are pretty good for $20 rear sight, but I understand these may need some work done on them to work properly. As shown in the attached photo, the machining is off, and it closely resembles another reviewer's photo, which tells me there isn't anything majorly wrong with the casting. What is wrong is the setup at the machine shop and the whole lot of them are machined badly. I suspect this can be fixed with a file, with pressure in the front to bring the front in alignment with the rear. This cant makes sighting, especially cowitnessed picture optically awkward, so you need to bring it back to straight. Also, as I tightened up the nut, I did not apply awhole lot of pressure, but it felt like the threads were already soft and I dared no more. However, I don't feel it's tight enough to withstand any amount of live fire. This can probably be fixed by drilling out the nut and installing a helicoil, as I suspect the nut to be made from a soft material, although it is heavy. The registration bar at the bottom seems to be a headless bolt that was pressed in. This is how most cheaply made parts are. Can it be fixed or addressed? Yes, but not easily. Most home-gamers won't beable to do anything about this. But I believe, as long as it's truly perpendicular to the windage, repeat-zero shouldn't be a huge issue. So far a fun toy or truly BUIS situations where having a lower-par sight is better than no sight, this sight isn't half bad. But if this is critical to your job or what have you, you're looking in the wrong section, especially now that Amazon is infested with cheap Chinese knock-offs. Get it, make sure you have some smithing skills, or pass and spend a bit more for a plug-n-play part

Good to Go!!!
I'm Old School, and always trained with Iron Sights on my Rifle or AR Pistol. I purchased this rear sight and the Matching Front sight for an AR Pistol and they work very well. After about 6 months worth of use on the range and in and out of the Truck, they are sturdy and hold the Zero. They also Co-Witness well with my EoTech Electronic Sight on another rifle.

Stevie Wonder apparently machined this......
Cheap for a reason. The entire sight base is not milled flat, also the holes for the windage adjuster are not even close to drilled straight. Entire sight is crooked. Unusable. Spend more for a quality sight. This one is useless at any price.
