Every recipe is amazing, the pages are in color, and the history is priceless!

This cook book is something more of a text book both in style and size. It is packed with historical information, ancient poems and texts, stories, cited art and of course recipes. The index alone greatly impressed me. It's worth far more than the $46 price so do not hesitate.

Excellent i wish i could afford the 1 st edition ($600) but hey i am happy with the ($60) one i got ! It is a lovely well written cooking book with history and tales of spices and people, you can almost smell the spices with pleasure !
