Rattling Piece of Junk
The battery requires a small screw to be removed. Then when you replace the battery it needs to screw in order to stop it from falling out of the case. If you try to put the screw back in, it is extremely difficult because the battery can wiggle wherever it wants inside the case. Then when you use it to record using a phone's handset, it records like shit. There's a loud buzzing and your voice sounds like you are across the room. The menus are difficult to navigate and the buttons do not help you understand what to press to get things to happen on the screen. Overall, it's trash. Save your money and try something else.

This recorder was ok however; I found another recorder that better suited my needs.

Before putting this item into service make sure you were not given a used one
I was a bit hesitant in purchasing this item, but foolish me did. Instead of a new product I was sold a used item. Scratches on the face plate, cords were just thrown in and untied The power supply and manual like the others were just thrown inside the box and shipped out.

Worked well at first
Lil hard to understand set up. I figured it out, got it recording incoming and outgoing calls then it stopped and I could not get it to do it again. Has a lot of helpful options available when it works.

We bought two recordings of telephone conversations from you, except that one of the recorders starts recording on its own when you lift the handset even after hanging up the recording continues. yet the soncond works without problem

Doesn't work. Manual is bad. Return costs on consumer?

I need to use this in the field and wanted to use battery. But weirdly, the battery cover if it is OFF does not fit back into the unit. I don't know why this is. Also, there is no power button that could control the unit besides the one on the battery pack. I also found that the unit was a bit dicey on battery power. Bumping the unit caused some loose connection to happen and the unit would reset. Too finicky for my use.

To complicated set up manuel is very complicated and not to understand my son try setup again today if not product goes back it comes from China.....
