I’m not a sound expert, but I genuinely enjoy music. This speaker is incredible. Truly. We have a farm where we occasionally have parties out in the field. In the field of sunflowers overlooking the Straits of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains, in fact. I bought one of these just to see how good the sound is outdoors and I quickly bought a second one to pair. It’s my own personal “wall of sound”. The volume, the clarity, the base all come together to give a sound not unlike live music. I can’t rave enough about these incredible speakers. They are big, and (for me) heavy. Picture a septuagenarian with big 15 pound speakers in each hand approaching the scene and you can understand. Violin music will make the hair on your neck rise a bit, crystal clear classical can begin to change your whole hairstyle, where excellent R & B brings it all home. Trust me. Your life will never be the same without a couple of these on hand for life events. Inside or outside, low volume or REALLY LOUD AND CLEAR, these speakers are built for sharing the pure joy of music.

Good sound quality, longer charged than previous models

The JBL Boombox 2 has truly impressed me in every way! Right out of the box, it was so easy to set up and start using—Bluetooth pairing is a breeze, and the controls are intuitive. Whether I’m indoors or outdoors, this speaker delivers incredible sound quality. It fills the house with deep bass and crisp highs, making everything from music to podcasts sound amazing. Durability is where this speaker really shines. I’ve strapped it to the back of my quad for rides, and it’s even taken a few falls with no issues at all—it still works perfectly! It’s built like a tank, yet it still looks sleek and modern. I love the design; it’s bold and stylish, so it fits in anywhere, whether in my living room or out in the yard. As for power, this thing is a beast. The sound doesn’t just fill a room—it dominates it. Outdoors, the sound can be a little softer in wide-open spaces, but it still packs a punch and bumps hard. The battery life is fantastic, giving me hours of non-stop playtime without needing to charge. It’s my go-to for any outdoor activity or gathering. In short, the JBL Boombox 2 is incredibly easy to use, sounds amazing, and is tough enough to handle anything I throw at it. It looks great, sounds even better, and keeps going strong no matter where I take it. Highly recommend! Ok...I am an admitted audiophile for the past 30 years. i have listened to speakers that cost $10,000 each with sound systems that cost $50,000+. Unfortunately, the transition from DVD/Blue-Ray quality to highly-compressed MP4 format has resulted in most speakers sounding weak with no high or low end. Enter that JBL BoomBox 2. While certainly not audiophile quality, it is probably the best sounding portable speaker I have heard in the past 10 years! The $400 price tag is not cheap but if you are looking for awesome sound, then seriously consider this speaker. First, it has a wonderful, warm sound with delightful highs and tight bass. Sounds great at low volumes and awesome at high volume. No degradation of sound quality at higher volumes. Crank it up for larger areas like a backyard or pool (it is waterproof). Two of these would rock any any larger area or venue. I was also impressed by the the long rechargeable battery life, easy to carry handle and simple controls. Pairing to my smartphone was quick and easy. Apparently you can order two and use them in a stereo format via their app but I have yet to try this. Only drawback is that it is not lightweight. Could double as a bicep curl weight. Honestly, you could spend 2X or 3X on other Bluetooth speakers but I would doubt you would get any better sound quality. Will definitely be ordering a second unit for my backyard/pool area. Love the idea they can be quickly and easily be moved indoors for movies and home theater.

Significant and high-quality sound from a portable speaker. Bass is loud and tight, not boomy. Mids and high frequencies are clear and crisp. I'm very pleased with this JBL Boombox 2. It is also very easy to use.

My husband just loves this boom box. The base is fantastic! He takes it outside to grill and sit to enjoy a beer, it’s so portable. The function is fantastic as it holds battery life well. It’s super good looking and the sound quality is- just unbelievable!! Such a great find!

When I first took it out the box I tried to connect and use the speaker but it was cutting in and out and the bluetooth range was almost nonexistent. I looked online and followed the 10 step guideline listed on the job website and now everything is working perfectly! I will update if anything changes! Review: This thing might be big but it’s only because it packs a huge punch. It has clear, booming audio while still being light enough to carry. The design makes it super portable without sacrificing looks. It charges a bit slow but it also has a great battery life so it’s a trade off! Overall 9/10!

Esperadamente sorprendente, la calidad del sonido como es esperado de JBL es fabulosa, la nitidez y un bajeo espectacular es la mejor para outdoor, si la ponen en un espacio cerrado creanme sentiran todo el poder del bass se nota de inmediato que no fue diseñada para eso porque hay que "controlarla demasiado", la duración de la pila es excelente, la hemos usado por mas de 12 horas continuas a volumen alto y aun no hemos visto que se le termine o tener que salir corriendo a cargarla es super recomendable!

Pros: - This thing POUNDS. (whoever mentioned about lack of bass must not have charged it out of the box) - Excellent design. (great build quality) - Super responsive controls and stays connected to a device anywhere in the home. - Used outside for 2 days straight on single charge and kept on going without issue. - JBL app for updates and adjustments. Cons: - Wish it had a remote as it turns itself off after about 10 min of being disconnected/inactivity. Summary: If a modern ghetto blaster type sound is what your looking for than this is the one. Ive been listening to everything from rock, blues, hip hop and podcasts and this little tank handles everything as expected. Nice and punchy bass, mids and highs sound exceptional. Im going to grab another one on sale down the road to really shake things up as they can connect to eachother. Don't hesitate. Purchase one while they are still on sale and available.

Es un buen producto, la calidad de audio de los artículos JBL es innegable, de fácil transportación, algo costoso eso si, no es un artículo tal vez de un costo más elevado en relación al producto, pero cuando lo escuchas sonar, vale la pena, 160 wats de salida en util en espacios abiertos con un estándar de sonido aceptable, no el más potente tal vez ,pero siempre conserva la nitidez del sonido, si no fuera tan costos compraba dos y las vinculada via sus sistema jbl boost conection

Produto de excelente qualidade, em questão a acústica do som, e também de ótima durabilidade da bateria. Já tem 2 anos que tenho e o desempenho é sempre o mesmo.
