Spellbinders Borderabilities Card Creator Dies, A2 Curved Borders 1

I use they dies every day and they are wonderful. First, you can use them on 6x6 inch cards as well as 4.5x5.5. Thank you for that!! There are several different styles included in the package, so they are highly versatile. Elegant, interesting, delicate, and bold, they give great effects for cards, shadowboxes, mini-albums, and even lanterns. The dies all cut clean and the notches on the dies (one set for 6" and another for 4.5") are a great help in making sure the die is on straight. A fringe benefit is that these dies take clear embossing ink well (haven't tried pigment ink yet). I use my clear embossing ink pen to layer ink on the die, following the curve of the die. Then I place the die on my cardstock. When it cuts, it presses the embossing ink into the cardstock. The result is a PERFECT clean lined embossable edge that perfectly follows the curve of the die. After carefully removing the die from the cardstock, I added embossing powder to the card and wow! Also, if you are careful, you can also use these to emboss as well as cut for some very interesting effects. I used all of them at the same time for a background emboss. These are a very good investment and great value for the money!

I make and sell greeting cards to benefit our local library, and these border dies add an elegant touch to almost any type of A2 (5.5" x 4.25") card. See customer image for a birthday card I decorated with two of these dies. There are a total of seven bracket border dies in this set, and you can mix and match with them. Note that the dies only have one long cutting edge, so you might end up doing some hand-cutting with these dies. I suppose Spellbinders does this to make these border dies more adaptable, but I always end up having to hand-cut one of the long edges.

Spellbinders has yet to let me down. These borderabilities are beautiful and are perfect for a decorative edge for my handmade mini albums. There are numerous combinations to meet all your creative art.

Spellbinders provides me with a vast selection of shapes and colors for my craft needs. They are very well made and easily used without damaging delicate shapes. I simply must have them all.

Excellent quality and design! Love the various layers and changing up the shape of borders! The notches on the dies are nelpful for lining things up just right. Will look for more borders to dress up my cards.

I'm going to make some elegant cards and create some unique are pieces with this die. This works great with the bigshot. I need to learn how to use the die to better artistic advantage. My first few experiments are beautiful cuts and I know these are going to be used every day for one thing or another. I might try making cookie edges with these some day. Fun to use.

Me regalaron por Reyes la Big shot de sizzix por lo que he empezado a comprar algunos troqueles para poder usarla. Estos en concreto me han gustado bastante porque permiten hacer varias combinaciones para decorar el borde de una tarjeta, de un sobre, de una solapa, etc... La primera vez que los usé me asusté un poco porque crujió bastante el metacrilato al pasarlo por la big shot pero luego me he dado cuenta de que es lo normal para que pueda cortar bien. Recomiendo pasarlo varias hacia delante y hacia detrás para que queden bien marcados todos los detalles de las filigranas. En cuanto al envío llegaron bien protegidos y en el plazo establecido.

El corte es muy bueno, la presión en la big shot hace que se marque el margen, así que sale con una línea de la misma figura como un dobles, y truena al pasar por la presión, el corte es muy bueno y muy bonito. Ah la que tiene varios orificios no recortó muy bien.
