"&"nbsp; LP includes two 150-gram vinyl "&"nbsp; Press Review: Want GREAT music....buy it....NOW! - Let me first start by saying I normally keep up with "real" music. I love the Foreign Exchange, Eric Roberson, anything soulful or jazzy. I first heard of the Internet when Under Control came on the radio. I was shocked that radio would play something so talented and I was immediately hooked. I began looking up everything I could on the group, even got Spotify so I could hear more from the group---SO GLAD I DID!!! Ever had a CD you could put on and just let it go, or a tape you would play until you literally wore it out? This is symbolically the digital version. My only regret? I wish I'd known about them sooner...I just missed them performing here in Atlanta. Other than that, love them so much, I bought the album Feel Good at the same time as Ego Death. What I really appreciate is nothing seems forced....the music just flows---slow, more upbeat, funk, a little jazzy--IT'S ALL GOOD!!! The sound is authentic and belies the ages of the group---they are really talented.I can honestly say I don't have a favorite, I will say if you buy this for "Under Control" please put the whole thing on a shuffle/repeat so you can truly appreciate it. Review: Great album - Totally worth buying

One of the best albums from the 10s.
I was super late to the Internet, but this album did not disappoint. After first hearing about them sometime around the late twenty-teens I finally got around to listening to their albums in 2023. This was my favorite, so I decided to purchase the physical CD. Had it in heavy rotation for all 2023.

Soothing, relaxing, funky, soulful..
Thoroughly impressed by this group. Soothing, relaxing, funky, soulful; words I would use to describe this album. My initial reaction was Miguel meets Corrine Bailey Rey. Music like this helps restore my faith in the notion that good, thoughtful music can still be created in this era of clones and unoriginality. I literally love every song but favorites are Gabby and Just Sayin/I Tried, both feature infectious, memorable hooks (which in itself is a signature of this album) laced with chunky hip-hop drums. Recommended for anyone who can appreciate hip-hop, soul music and sultry, sleek vocals. In other words, buy this album and tell a friend.

Enjoyable Fare
I recently discovered The Internet through one of the music streaming services. Ego Death is the first studio album of theirs that I purchased. They have a unique Soul, R&B, and electronica sound. The chipper, crafty "Under Control" from this album is one of my favorites of theirs, while the slow-n-sultry "Shadow Dance" from their "Feel Good" album is another worth mentioning. Both are deftly performed by lead vocalist Sydney "Syd Tha Kyd" Bennett. Good stuff.

Great album! Great sound by a young, talented group
Great music! I knew about this group back when they were part of Odd Future. I really caught on when I heard "Girl" via Kaytranada's Soundcloud. However, I was really pleasantly surprised on how chill the rest of the songs were. These young talents balanced soul and indie and hip hop vibes for an overall great loungey sound. They sound like a mix of NERD, Frank Ocean, Quadron, and The Weeknd all in one. If you like any of those artists, I'm confident you'll like this group.

Rarely today can you buy a CD filled with good songs. This CD meets those expectations
Rarely today can you buy a CD filled with good songs. This CD meets those expectations. One of the local radio stations WHUR here played one of their songs "Under Control", in which I liked, and wondered what the rest of the songs would be like, so I purchased the CD. I was not disappointed. This CD is great!!! , from the vocals to the different instruments played by the musicians. I read some of the reviews by others who have posted their opinions, and I have to agree that this group will continue to produce great music. I wish them much continued success in the future.
