Solid lamp for season affective disorder treatment and just general well being in the winter months. Helps wake me up, and I generally don't like sunlight early in the morning.

My house faces south with no side windows so we get no direct sunlight. The instructions recommended having the light within about arms reach so I thought it’d give off enough light for one person sitting at a desk; but no. This thing lit up my entire living room. If it IS within arm’s reach I have it at an angle so the light isn’t going directly into my kid’s face. In the morning I put it on the nightstand to help my kid wake up. The only assembly is pushing in the stand, which you can take out and flip depending on if you want the lamp sitting portrait or landscape. The power cord pushes in sideways instead of straight in, which is easier for that small space. If you get nothing else out of this, it makes for an amazing lamp. The white light from this little thing casts a nicer, brighter effect over my living room than my two table lamps. Because of that alone, used this thing everyday since it came. I took a picture of it next to a 16oz bottle for an idea of the size.

Stands to what it promises. Turns my bedroom into instant sunshine. And no cloud in the sky!

As soon as the Lumie Vitamin L - Slim Light Therapy Lamp arrived I set it up immediately. I love the slim design and it's easy to use. There is a timer function that works well and is useful for me because I use my sunlight lamps while I work and lose track of time. The brightness is intense so I set it to the side and not directly in front of my face because it hurts my eyes. I alternate sides every other day to make myself feel balanced but I don't know if it's necessary. The price point is high. I am a believer in you get what you pay for in most cases, however, I own a few light therapy lamps that were much less expensive and worked just as well. I have been using SAD lights for years, but found them very bulky. I decided to look at lights from European companies as much of Europe has dark winters and people have limited space in their homes. This light does not disappoint. It is sleek, compact and works well. I am already feeling a difference in my mood.

I’ve used it now a few times, and it’s been great! Does seem to be a good quality light. I do, however, believe the price (at almost $100) is higher than it should be.

This item was great but only worked for a few months before it started to flicker out and now has very low brightness - like it's more dim than a clip-on reading light. I know this is one of the less expensive SAD lamps but it's not worth the money if it just breaks on it's own after a short period of use. Dissapointed.

I use this every morning as I’m getting ready for work. It’s super bright! Necessary for the PNW!
