Lovely pot. Heats/stay warm. Great value. Nice large capacity so I know my intake. Functions well. Heats quickly.

I love this kettle! I'm glad that I got it. Unfortunately Amazon initially send me an item that had been used and returned, but quickly sent a replacement, thankfully. The pot heats up in 2-3 minutes, automatically shuts off after boiling for a bit, and stays pretty warm so it re-boils quickly when I need hotter water again. The only trouble I've had is that the cord is relatively short so I've accidentally pulled it out from the wall when moving the base on my counter top (I've got a little coffee grinder plugged in whose cord is too long so it all gets tangled a bit). Overall I'm well pleased with my purchase and appreciate that I don't have to leave a burner turned on on my stove - my old stove top kettle thanks me too.

After my previous electric kettle stopped working I ordered this one. I use it almost every day. There have been a number of reviews about spotting on the bottom of the kettle, but I haven't noticed that. I do make sure there is always some water left in it after using it so the heat doesn't burn off the rest of the moisture, so that may be why, but I can't say for sure. The noise is about average for electric kettles. The cord seems to be around 18". Pros: It looks really classy, much nicer than most electric kettles. It is easy to put on and take off the base, and feels really sturdy on it. It doesn't drip when pouring it. This is a huge issue I've encountered with electric kettles in the past. Keep warm function. This is really cool to have. I've only ever used it once, but some people may use it all the time Cons: The "buttons" the hold the lid in place get stuck in easily. When I first got it I pushed one of them just to see how strong the pushback was and now it will be forever lost within the lid. That being said, having one less button hasn't affected the lid's ability to stay closed when pouring. So no problems with functionality, just frustrating. There is no button to open the lid. My previous kettles all had buttons to press to pop the lid open, which was incredibly convenient. This kettle doesn't have that, but it has an indented handle on the top that makes it easy to open. The lid doesn't stick open. This has been my biggest frustration with this kettle. Once you open the lid, all you have to do is tilt the kettle a little bit to make the lid flopped closed again. This is very annoying when filling the kettle. Since I have to use one hand to hold the kettle and another to hold the lid open, that means that I need to turn on the water ahead of time and wipe down whatever water gets on the outside after before putting it back on the base.

This is our second Dezin electric kettle. 1.5 litre capacity is good for boiling water for cooking. Spout allows a drip free pour. Borosilicate vessel sides lets you see the water boiling. Keep warm option is my husband's favorite. The cord and plug are heavy duty. Our older Dezin kettle stopped working after 5 years of daily use. When searching for a replacement, we looked at fancier models by other brands. However we went back to Dezin as it gave us most of the features we wanted at a very good price. If this one lasts as long we will be satisfied. Happy it comes in black this time as it looks good on the black granite countertop.

The Good: ! The size of this kettle is very good; seems fairly large. ! The attached lid opens completely vertical so if you need to wash it with your hand completely inside, it will fit easily, unless you are Paul Bunyan. ! The pour lip is shaped well where it allows the water to flow forward/out and doesn't run down the outside. ! The Blue color for boiling and Green color for good-to-go is a nice cool looking feature. ! Simple design and straight forward to use. The Bad: ~ I dislike the description as "double-walled" which is typically synonymous with a thermos, mug, or like a Yeti that has 2 walls and vacuumed to keep the content (insulated) hot or cold for hours. For Example: Yeti Rambler description is "This tough bottle is **double-wall** vacuum insulated to keep your water cold until the last sip..." ~ I wouldn't exactly call this kettle "double-walled" since the glass has a plastic like outer layer for more like holding/supporting the glass in a single unit with the heating element on the bottom as opposed to providing a thermal insulation function; like a French Press' handle or canister for support. You can add multiple layers of plastic that will have a similar "insulating" effect but it's actually transferring the temperature in or out of the layers. ~ Having said that, while it took a full 5 minutes (Not Bad) to come to a rolling boil for a full pot, then it cooled off fairly quickly, so the warming function is needed to keep it content warm (definitely not hot). ~ So there is absolutely No insulating effects that this kettle can maintain despite their use of the marketing buzzword "double-walled." ~ The base is quite light which gives this kettle a bit of a flimsy feel. There is no functional issue, just moves loosely around when lifting off the kettle; a bit of weight would help for a more firm/solid feel. The Ugly: Nothing ugly to report so far. I Really would have preferred a true double-walled INSULATED kettle, but there aren't any that have really passed the test or are a true double-walled insulated kettle . I found 1 that was close for like $80-90 but the reviews were bad since THAT item had glass on the inside and Plastic on the outside and no real way to know how much insulating effect it had. It also had quality defects where it was rusting or corroding inside. Overall: For the price $20~ it's GREAT value, looks way cool, does what it's supposed to do, easy to clean, and keep the water warm. I'm not those water snobs that are like "Oh, I need to EXACTLY 130 degrees F for my tea and 150 degrees F for my blah, blah, blah..... Who gives a Shhhh because in the end, you are going to drink it around 80-90 degrees F AFTER it cools off. It comes to a boil, pour it in and move along. Who stares at their water waiting for that exact temperature? Get your priorities straight! I hope it lasts a while, but I'm not expecting much for $20ish bucks. I can always get another one.....

Es una buena opción, elimine el uso de trastes en estufa para hacerme un té. Es más rápido y seguro, hacerte desde un té hasta 4 litros de agua de jamaica en un instante!!! Espero me dure mucho tiempo!!!

Muy buen producto de gama alta, tiene excelente calidad de materiales y la iluminación interna lo hace ver muy bien

Es lo mejor, muy rápida en calentar el agua, me encantó y si tiene mucha capacidad, serían unas 8 tazas aproximadamente
