the little pot is glued down do you need to remove the pot so water and come up through the bottom?

The growing medium is Vermiculite. It’s a great growing medium and the Agiculture Department allows it to be shipped anywhere.

How often do you have to water it?

When the seeds are just sprouting, and you're keeping the top on, once a week seems to be enough. Less often once the cacti are growing.

Is each seed/sprout it’s own cactus? instructions were very unclear so i dumped the whole packet in the little pot. now i have about 6 sprouts.

Yes each seed can product a cactus in theory. You put in lots of seeds hoping some will sprout. You don't have to use the entire package. I put about 1/2 package in. Also keep out of direct sun for 3 years. Saguaros grow under another tree or bush in the wild.
