Stands out from the crowd
This book is designed for the AQA GCSE 9-1 Biology course, and is very helpful in supporting students along the way and especially useful in the days nearing the exam. It follows a structured format, containing three different sections for each topic, 'knowledge', 'retrieval' and 'practice'. The knowledge section is particularly useful for revision throughout the course as it nicely summaries each section in a clear and concise format. The retrieval section acts like flashcards, allowing for a quick test of understanding before moving onto practice. This is the highlight of the book, and contains many practice questions which are vital for students whilst developing exam technique. Despite being a lengthy book however, it does need to be supported with other textbooks with a more in depth explanation of each topic; this book is designed more for revision. Saying this, I would still definitely recommend it.

Biology revision book
My childs school are using this for extra revision, so nice that it wasn't expensive to get one for excess help. Decent size text and good for revising.

Good value
My daughter loves this Biology GCSE revision book. It breaks down complex topics with clear explanations and diagrams. The practice questions really helped her prepare, and she feels much more confident now.

Great purchase
Bought used and arrived in great condition. This revision guide includes all the topics and lots of exam practice for each one. I recommend purchasing the revision books for all three sciences.

great. concise. lots of practice questions
Haven't seen many revision guides, but this seems the best i've seen. The information is concise and well laid out. Lots of practice questions in the book - answers online. I prefer it to gcp, as fewer words and noise on each page.. but might not cover as broad a depth in pages - but i think thats okay as everything is then covered well in practice questions
