Sunco 24 Pack 6 Inch Ultra Thin LED Recessed Ceiling Lights Slim, 2700K Soft White, Dimmable 14W, Canless Wafer Thin with Junction Box

My son replaced my existing ceiling can lights with these. He said they were very simple to install and these are so much brighter than the old lights. They are on a dimmer so I can tone down he bright light when not needed. I can't address longevity as yet but I'm very happy with them now.

We bought these lights for our kitchen and dining room remodel in September 2022. I love the way they look with their slim design. They were easy to install and they are very bright. The fact that they dim is an extra bonus. One our our lights started flickering and then stopped working earlier this month (March 2024) I contacted customer support via email and they responded within minutes and sent a new light and several back ups just in case... Excellent customer service. We could not be happier with our purchase.

Nice and helpfully material

Over the past ~2.5 years, I've bought close to 200 of these lights. As I've updated my rentals (and my personal home), these have become the replacement lights we've chosen.I've had 15 of the 200 fail so fair. Overall not terrible, but I'd expect more for the money.I've noticed that they 100% fail more often when you're dimming them! Although the Amazon description says they're dimmable, I suspect they're not, or their lifespan is greatly decreased when dimmed. This should be made clear, but it's not.Because of these failures, I recently bought another 24-pack so that I have them on hand - the issue is they've changed their connections! So, they're not compatible with previous parts. This is a serious pain because you can't just swap the light now, you have to swap the Jbox as well. Seems easy enough, but when you have blow-in insulation falling on you, and you're on a ladder trying to be quick and efficient, you're not.Major flaw IMO, and I'm really hoping they don't do this again... or that the lights last longer than 12-18 months.

These are easy to install. We have installed over 200 all over our hotel. Guests complement us on the quality of lighting and the fresh, clean look the lights provide. We will continue to buy them.

Loos good and easy to install.

After sending me 15 new lights, one year later, I need about 20 more.... Same complaints! The plastic tabs holding the springs break. So they fall from the ceiling and hang. I have 2 hanging down as I type this. Another 10 are burned out in less than a year. I just had to buy another 24 pack to try to replace all of the inop or broken ones. I will have some extras, but I don't feel like having to change ALL of them to a new brand. I feel sorry for the poor bastard that buys my home...To make good on my promise, I am updating this review based on the great customer service from Sunco. I contacted the manufacturer through their website and they asked for images of the back of the lights that apparently gave them manufacture batch dates so they could track any manufacturing issues. They have shipped replacements. I cannot ask for anything more.... I will leave the original review below for prospective buyer info.I bought 72 of these lights for a new construction project that finished about 4 months ago. Very easy to install, sleek looking, and has great color and brightness. However, in that short time, I've had to replace about 8 lights where the plastic tip that holds the springs on, breaks off. See pics. I suspect that the heat generated by the lights causes the plastic to become brittle and since the spring is constantly under pressure, they eventually shear off. I've also had 3 recently burn out and stop working. Not a huge deal as you expect to replace some lights now and then, but I have 15' - 20' ceilings, so it becomes very "inconvenient." The description claims a 7-year warranty. I will update this review if they make good on the warranty.
